Liam Neeson Wants to Return as Ra's al Ghul For "Arrow" TV Series

Posted: August 30th, 2014 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Liam Neeson Wants to Return as RaSubmit Comment
We've already seen Liam Neeson play Ra's al Ghul in Christopher Nolan's "Batman Begins," and now the character is set to be the main villain in the third season of the "Arrow" TV series.

It has yet to be revealed who will play Ra's a Ghul, but there's already an actor who is more than interesting in taking on the role. That actor is Liam Neeson.

While promoting his "A Walk Among the Tombstones" movie, MTV asked him if he has been approached to reprise his role on the TV series. "No, I haven't," he replied: adding: "I would [do it] in a heartbeat, if it came my way, yeah. Very much so."

But if it doesn't happen, Neeson has some advice for whoever ends up taking the role. "They have to believe in their philosophy. Ra's al Ghul absolutely believed what he was doing was ultimately saving civilization, and it was quite a good argument he comes up with," the actor explained. "Throughout the ages, this fraternity, that brought the plague to wipe out a section of mankind because it needed to be regenerated again. Very dangerous, but you have to believe it."

You're too good for that sh*t, Liam!

Your character died, dude. Or are we just basically pretending the best DC movies didn't happen? Yeah, that sounds like a REALLY smart thing to do since Nolan is the best thing to happen to DC, which isn't saying much.

Anyway, stop smoking the sh*t, Liam, you sound more pretentious than your class and style and grace and talent should allow, because we all know 95% of your Batman Begins character was accent and wardrobe.

That would be awesome but I seriously doubt they could fit him into the show with their budget.

Maybe Arrow takes place before Batman begins It would be a smart movie on WB part to use him as Ra's. A lot more people will watch arrow. And at the end of season 3 one of the assassin could tell Ra's that Bruce Wayne has been sighted and locked up. Cause isn't Olive older then Bruce?

DON'T DO IT NEESONSSS! Nothing against Stephen Amell but everything about Arrow is complete amateur filmed trash. I'm only being so critical because of the potential it had and what it could have become. I've seen a couple episodes, yes its entertaining, for about 10 minutes but so is Keeping Up With The Kartrashians. How can you say that when it got renewed for a 3rd season you ask? It's CW need I say more? I mean there was more effort put into making VD, but when they want to make a comic book adaptation that could potentially link to big screen like BVS and JS they blow it! They would be fools not to ask him to reprise the role. LIAM NEESONS ON CABLE TV. f*ck YEAH. They would bring in millions of viewers who passed on it, including myself.

Rant ended.

Now what I would pay to watch is a Ra's al Ghul spinoff staring the infamous LIAM NEESONS. Still can't say his name without thinking of K&P.

@alleyg

Arrow is on The CW, which is a broadcast network, not cable. Also the first 2 seasons have been surprisingly solid. If you schmucks actually watched it you would not deride it at all.

Although I seriously doubt that Liam will be casted on it as Ra's again.

I would actually watch Arrow if Neeson was cast again as Rhas. But it will def f*ck up a lot continuity issues.

@Bando. I thought NON-STOP was decent, except the convoluted reveal of the bad guys motives at the end.

Sure, Liam can go on chewing up scenery while the rest of the cast has about as much charisma as grassland being gently swayed about by the wind on a clear and sunny day.
