New Trailer For Jake Gyllenhaal's "Nightcrawler" Thriller Posted: August 21st, 2014 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Today we have a new trailer for the upcoming "Nightcrawler" thriller, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Rene Russo. Check it out below. Plot: Gyllenhaal stars as Lou Bloom, a driven young man desperate for work who discovers the high-speed world of LA crime journalism. Finding a group of freelance camera crews who film crashes, fires, murder and other mayhem, Lou muscles into the cut-throat, dangerous realm of nightcrawling -- where each police siren wail equals a possible windfall and victims are converted into dollars and cents. Aided by Nina (Russo), a veteran of the blood-sport that is local TV news, Lou thrives. In the breakneck, ceaseless search for footage, he becomes the star of his own story. "Nightcrawler" is the directorial debut of Dan Gilroy and is set to hit theaters on October 31st.

Meh. Not a fan of Jake at all and freelance journalism no matter how dark doesn't do much for me.

Looks really sleazy, even for LA; and I see Rene Russo has taken the Botox Challenge. Looks like she won, too.

Jake would be great for American Psycho 3, fore sure. They should get on that, stat.
Interesting trailer. Might actually watch it on second thought. Probably not though.

I like Jake Gyllenhaal he seems to make smart decisions for his films (except Prince Of Persia). This film pretty much sums up the news in general, they love brutality in all of it's forms, i'm sure when 9/11 happened editors around the world were all cheering.
