Millennium Entertainment has unveiled the first two posters for its upcoming "Automata" sci-i film, starring Antonio Banderas, Melanie Griffith, Dylan McDermott, and Robert Forster. Check everything out below.

Plot: Set 50 years in the future, the story follows Jacq Vaucan (Banderas), an insurance agent of ROC robotics corporation who routinely investigates cases of manipulating robots. What he discovers will have profound consequences for the future of humanity as he uncovers a truth that is far more complex than the make or model of any machine.

The new movie is directed by Spanish helmer Gabe Ibanez (Hierro) and is set to be released on VOD and in select theaters on October 10th.

When I think of science fiction I don't think of Antonio Banderas.

With that cast it's sure to be a hit

In the future, we all live in the desert, save our heads, and wear big dusters that do nothing to cool us down in the hot post-apocalyptic wasteland, but it sure looks cool doesn't it?

Hate to say it but banderas was the best character in ex 3

Animated cat?? Don't get Dustin worked up

meh !
Banderas was an overacting, unfunny character, trying too hard in the crappy EX3 .
Would prefer a third desperado movie with an older mariachi, perhaps clashing with Machete !!

@BJ

They already made that movie and it was Once Upon A Time In Mexico.

I'll go ahead and guess the twist: they're using human brains. There, now you don't have to see it.

@Deaft0ne
yeah, I know, but it was pretty sh*tty and no Machete ;)
Trejo was in the first movie with throwing knifes, but I would love to see him end the life of the mariachi as Machete !!
Know it will never happen, though..

@BJ

Actually OUATIM is the 3rd film in that trilogy, El Mariachi is the first film and Desperado is 2nd.

I do agree though that the 3rd one focused too much on Johnny Depp and not enough on Banderas. Also, Trejo is in it again as a different character than the Machete-type character he played in Desperado.

I need to watch Once Upon again because I forgot how he died. I think Mickey Rourke just shot him in the middle of the street or something.

Why the f*ck do they have Julio Iglecias playing Mr. Clean in THX 1138 ?

Antonio must've watched Vin Diesel in Ridd*ck and went ... "Alll these years .... it's the hair! I gotta lose the hair!!!!"
