"Mad Max: Fury Road" Unveils First PosterSubmit Comment
Warner Bros just unveiled the first poster for "Mad Max: Fury Road," starring Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Nathan Jones, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Check it out below.

Plot: The post-apocalyptic action film is set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and most everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world of fire and blood exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order. There's Max (Hardy), a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos, and Furiosa (Theron), a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.

"Mad Max: Fury Road" is directed by George Miller (Mad Max) and is set to hit conventional and 3D theaters on May 15th, 2015.

I've gotta watch all the Mel Gibson ones. Always enjoy his films but haven't seen the Mad Max's

I really hope there is some meat to this, right now I just see Tom Hardy playing as a Cosplay to Gibson's Max.

@mink
Take heed in knowing at least it's not a remake and the original director is coming back. This means he knows damn well how to make this an authentic Mad Max film with Hardy taking over.

My God. In the words of James Downey in Billy Madison " Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it " .. what a f*cking awfully written synopsis.

So the plat basically says that this is a road trip. A faghag gets a lift from Tom Hardy across some desert to her childhood homeland. Makes my ovaries tingle.

Where the hell is Mel Gibson. He can definitely still play Mad Max. I mean he may drop into a scene out in the desert and say, "see what the jews did to everything. I tried to warn everyone." Just saw him in EXP3 and he's good.

This film sounds like a sad imitation of the original without any of the magic that made the original a classic. This is probably got a huge budget. CGI effects. A gay Mad Max. The original was just a bunch of wacko's in the desert with a few cameras trying to tell a story with no budget.

We don't need another hero
We don't need to know the way home
All we want is life beyond the thunderdome
