First "Guardians of the Galaxy" Reviews are Incredibly PositiveSubmit Comment
Marvel just screened its "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie at Walt Disney Studios, where lots of movie critics were in attendance. And now, we have a bunch of Twitter reactions, which seem to be all very positive.

Check out the reactions below and watch the film in theaters on August 1st.

* #GuardiansOfTheGalaxy was fantastic! Not a false beat in two hours and just an insane amount of fun!

* I really liked GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. The characters work so well together.

* Groot is the new star of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

* OMG! #guardianofthegalaxy in 3D was beyond amazing!

* GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is another big win for Marvel! Every single character steals every scene.

* GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY opens up the Marvel universe in a great way. Movie is awesome and extremely funny.

* Guardians of the Galaxy is the first Marvel movie to have a great third act. It's full of personality, laughs, and d*ck jokes.

* Just finished watching Guardians of the Galaxy. Watch out Avengers, there's a new posse in town!

* Marvel's @Guardians is magnificent. Hilarious, touching, action packed, I don't think I could've liked it more.

* still in awe of last night's @Guardians screening.

* GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is pretty damn irresistible. Unerring balance of comedy, action and Groot.

* Best @Marvel movie ever!

* GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is everything I hoped it would be and more. Fun, funny, epic scale, just fantastic.

* Guardians of the Galaxy is incredible. INCREDIBLE. OH GOD.

* if you're a @Marvel fan you will not be disappointed

I'm just hoping that it's lightyears better than the over-the-top overrated "The Avengers".

Marvel is becoming one of the more reliable studios out there. Even when they stumble (IM2&3, Thor 2) they always to bounce back and impress (Thor, Captain America 2). Gunn is a great director to bring into the Marvel family so GOTG is just another step in the right direction for the studio.

Mink I always thought you hated Gunn?

Well, that's fine. Here's hoping it lives up to the hype (thus far) as a fun summer movie. Really, that's all I ask.

The first Transformers 4 reviews were positive as well and that sh*t was so bad it made me go out and punch a retarded kid so hard, he fell out of his wheelchair.

Still think it will not make blockbuster moneym gonna go edge of tomorrow route or worse box office wise. And that movie had better reviews and a way more consistent and bankable star

@jafinbham
Differences between those two films are huge from cast to just plain characters. The biggest one though man to really understand here...one had Michael Bay direct and the other has a director with a fairly decent reputation at cult films. Which do you think would be better no matter what? LOL

@vincere01
You also thought X-Men would gross a billion dollars...look how that turned out. LOL Plus this cast has well-known stars from modern hits! We got Uhura, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel plus a HUGE array of popular supporting actors ranging from drama (Glenn Close) to comedy (John C. Reilly). This film has something for everyone! Plus the only reason Edge of Tomorrow did bad was because Cruise only has sway in Mission: Impossible. Plus Edge of Tomorrow doubled it's money. It did fine given it had no franchise to leech off of.

@Sleuth
Oh don't get me wrong, I think this will be a good film. Marvel has yet to disappoint on some sort of Lone Ranger level. But this whole first early review thing is just one big circle jerk. They're always super positive because if they were going to give a negative review they weren't invited to the screening.

I'll see this just for that kid from Parks and Recreation. I'll see this film just for this out take.

@Porn :
Those were all critical flops not BO flops, kind of like Transformers. I should have clarified that better. For the most part Marvel has succeeded in both aspects with just a few bumps in the road here and there.
APCHEM writes:

This thing will be good on both levels. It won't earn like some main stream marval characters like captain America or iron man. But marvel will see a major return on their investment.
