North Korea Files Complaint with UN to Stop Release of Seth Rogen's "The Interview"

North Korea Files Complaint with UN to Stop Release of Seth RogenSubmit Comment
When the trailer for "The Interview" comedy, starring Seth Rogen and James Franco, was first released, North Korea immediately issued a statement due to the fact that the movie focuses on two reporters traveling to North Korea to assassinate the dictator Kim Jong-Un.

The statement was very childish, criticizing America for its wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as suggesting that the US government was behind the JFK assassination and is planning the assassination of Barack Obama.

But soon after, another statement was issued, threatening the US with war if "The Interview" is ever released.

And now, North Korea has filed a formal complaint with the United Nations, asking the UN to intervene. "To allow the production and distribution of such a film on the assassination of an incumbent head of a sovereign state should be regarded as the most undisguised sponsoring of terrorism as well as an act of war," said the complaint. "The United States authorities should take immediate and appropriate actions to ban the production and distribution of the aforementioned film; otherwise, it will be fully responsible for encouraging and sponsoring terrorism."

Obviously the United States will not stop the film from being released and North Korea's reaction is accomplishing only one thing... helping "The Interview" become a huge hit.

So now it's childish to question US war efforts across the seas? Really?

Here's the thing, Hollywood loves governments like China, Cuba, N.K. and leaders like Kim Uong-Ju, or whatever his name is. They obviously aren't going to depict his assassination.

I am even willing to bet that most of Hollywood wishes that President Obama was more like Kim Hung-Fu. I mean, look at N.K., the land isn't developed by companies, everyone not employed by the government makes the same wages ($0) and nobody has more power there than the media. N.K. is Hollywood's wet dream! Obviously they need to send Kum Dong-Un a pre-released copy to put his mind at ease.

Then again, when he does finally see it he'll probably get offended that anyone in Hollywood had the audacity to call this movie "funny".

I'm assuming that since NK is poor as sh*t then they must be under the impression that the only people who are rich enough to afford to make a movie is the government, and not just anyone with a camera. They probably see this as an act of war.

See, now your f*cking with us. And by us, I mean any f*cking logical and understanding human on the f*cking planet. It's just a f*cking movie.

Case in point: When Stanley Kubrick came out with Dr Strangelove, the Russians didn't threaten us with "Oh, we'll just contact the UN about this", for f*ck's sake. They just had Cuba threaten us with the Bay of Pigs.

I mean, really. This sounds like the nerdy kid in class calling the teacher because 99% of the kids in the world are giving it a wedgie.

I don't know about you, but when does the guy *at this point* who actually reads this (at the UN) start laughing ? At the beginning or midway through ?

It just goes to prove that North Korea must have laws on marijuana as strict as f*ck, otherwise they'd f*cking chill out about this.
