New Line Cinema and Village Roadshow Pictures have unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming "Into the Storm" found-footage disaster film, starring Richard Armitage (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey) and Sarah Wayne Callies ("The Walking Dead"). Check it out below.
Plot: In the span of a single day, the town of Silverton is ravaged by an unprecedented onslaught of tornadoes. The entire town is at the mercy of the erratic and deadly cyclones, even as storm trackers predict the worst is yet to come. Most people seek shelter, while others run towards the vortex, testing how far a storm chaser will go for that once-in-a-lifetime shot. Told through the eyes and lenses of professional storm chasers, thrill-seeking amateurs, and courageous townspeople, "Into the Storm" throws you directly into the eye of the storm to experience Mother Nature at her most extreme.
The new movie is directed by Steven Quale (Final Destination 5) and is set to hit theaters on August 8th.

Those airlines have sh*tty radar. Hopefully their planes are all made of the same material used to make the multiple cameras that produced all of the undamaged footage needed for the found-footage genre's fundamental concept to work.
Tornadoes are very f*cking frightening, if you have ever seen one in real life, especially when you hear that awful rumbling noise that sounds like god flushing the f*cking toilet. Too bad this sh*tty film captures none of the actual horror of witnessing a pitch-black conical maelstrom on a collision course with your living room.
