Trailer for Brad Pitt's "Fury" is Here! Posted: June 25th, 2014 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Columbia Pictures just unveiled the trailer for its upcoming "Fury" war film, starring Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Pena and Jon Bernthal. Check it out below. Plot: The story is set at the very end of World War II, in April 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theater, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and its five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany. The new movie is directed by David Ayer (End of Watch) and is set to hit theaters on November 14th.

No Panzer division against a mere Sherman tank?

I hope they strap Shia LaBeouf to the front of the tank to use as a human shield....and then Brad Pitt scalps him.

Looks pretty straightforward. The dialogue seems a bit tin-eared, though:
"Ideals are peaceful. History is violent."
"Ideals are peaceful. History is not."
And I suppose the entire main cast of physically small men is perhaps justified by the premise of soldiers stuck inside a tank, though I'm still not particularly won over by the actors involved.

Wardaddy. That's an odd name but okay..

I'll bet it's written in REALLY small font!

Unlike Inglourious Basterds, Fury actually has a very impressive cast of Jewish actors playing soldiers (Jason Isaacs, Logan Lerman, Jon Bernthal, and Cajun-Jewish mix Shia LaBeouf). They should have used this cast for that film.

It took them HOOOOOW long before they finally got a beaner in a World War Two movie ?

Hell, since the wetback is in the tank, I'm surprised there's not a scene where he tries to sell a sack of oranges to the Nazis.

I know this is a good film because Alex put an exclamation mark behind the news title.

"Wardaddy. That's an odd name but okay."
Well, they were going to name him Tanman, so I think this is an improvement.

Should have gone with minkydoodle huh? ^
minkowski writes: on June 25th, 2014 at 7:20:18 PM
No, they should have named him Minkowski, gave him a big 'stache and a bigger cigar, and made him a f*cking bad ass.

Finally, Hollywood is starting to make much needed World War II movies. Those Nazi bastards need to be vilified some more at the hands of the heroic Jews and whatever spare minority they have around. It is about time they stopped making so many movies about the Nanking Massacre in China perpetrated by the Japanese or the Killing Fields in Cambodia during the Vietnam War etc etc. We need MORE WWII movies that depict the atrocities that those evil Germans caused.
minkowski writes: on June 25th, 2014 at 7:55:30 PM
Yeah, all those movies about the murderous Japanese and Cambodians are really crowding out comic book movies. Good news indeed.

I just saw the Cinema Blend front page. It looks suspiciously like this one in terms of stories. They just offer more and are quicker to update.

There's probably a bunch of sites that all looks the same as this one. Come on, they just keep taking news that's already been said and postin it on their site. We'll never in a hundred years get some exclusive film news on this Particular web page lol
