Harrison Ford's "Star Wars: Episode VII" Injury is Worse Than First Reported

It was recently reported that Harrison Ford injured his ankle on the set of "Star Wars: Episode VII" and was taken to a hospital to be treat. It was then reported that he actually broke his ankle and will be out for eight weeks.

It now turns out that the situation is much worse. BBC News confirmed with Ford's publicist that the injury is not a broken ankle, but a broken leg. Disney claims that production will not be delayed.

If everything goes well, director JJ Abrams can work around Ford's injury while the actor recovers. "Star Wars: Episode VII" is set to hit theaters on December 18th, 2015.

Speaking from experience (I had a double fracture of the ankle), I can tell you that Ford won't be running around after 8 weeks. Physio will take most of the time to walk normally again so good luck to you Harrison.

I broke my femur when I was two lol ^ Fell out of a three story window! Lucky to be alive (let the jokes ensue)

Anyway, I think they'll rush his recovery. And he'll get the best physio money can buy so I could see it being right on the dot around eight weeks.

Seriously, if the accident was bad enough to break his leg, imagine if the door had landed on his back, neck or skull. That could have been it right there: the death -- or permanent crippling -- of Harrison Ford.

So, hopefully, Abram and the studio is cracking down hard on the production hands responsible. I know accidents happen, but this is nonetheless something that should be cut zero slack.

Just have Snoop Lion (formerly Snoop Dogg, formerly drug dealer) give Harrison some X-Box games and weed and he'll be fine.

Could be worse ... he could've been like those two fat hippos (Carrie Fisher and Mark Hammill) and snapped both ankles like the legs of a cheap coffee table.

^ Seems like they're getting a little ahead of themselves. I'm sort of indifferent to Johnson, but I would have preferred that they had gone with him first over Abrams.

Actually a broken leg is better than a broken ankle because a leg can be set more easily than an ankle, and there's potentially no loss of articulation.

But this was reported two days ago, so who the f*ck cares?
