Steven Seagal Will Never Join "The Expendables" Franchise, Wonders Why Liam Neeson is in Action FilmsSubmit Comment
With every installment of "The Expendables" came rumors that Steven Seagal would join the cast. But it never happened and we may now know why.

In a new interview with The Big Issue, the actor revealed: "I just [don't] like some of the people involved. Life is too short to work with funny people." It's not clear who specifically he's talking about, but it's likely Sylvester Stallone or possibly producer Avi Lerner.

Seagal went on to talk about today's action stars. "Times change. People don't have to be an action guy or a hero or a martial artist, they just get up there and let everybody spend the money and the time with special effects," he said. "Look at Liam Neeson. He can't fight, he's not an action guy at all and he's getting action movies now. So that should tell you something. He's a great dramatic actor, a great guy. Is he an action guy? No. Is he a great fighter, a great warrior? No. Let's be honest."

I'd like to say something mean about him, but even though he's a fat retard, he's still f*cking tough and fast.....And that goes double considering his inability to put down a fork!
Phil writes:

But then again seagal is not an actor and he still gets to act.

There is one thing Liam Neeson can do: exercise.

And that comment came from a man who joins Robert Rodriguez's crap. Don't get me wrong, Seagal is a real tough guy but his comments just made a fool out of him.

And Seagal believes he can actually act!? f*ck off!

Liam was a former boxer so he CAN fight you Fat f*ck! What an ignorant c*nt!

@Phil
Most of the best actors in the business have no formal training, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio to name a couple and the kind of movies Seagal was in were no less plot driven than Neeson's. Who needs to be able to act to be filmed fighting?
Point - Neeson should never have dropped out of 'Lincoln' for whatever sh*tty 'Taken 2' or 'Entourage' cameo he did it for.

haha looks like someones jealous of Neeson's success.and I'm glad for Neeson cause he's a badass and he takes it to the next level.

I would love to see him in an expendables movie and to team up with Denzel.that's all I ask

Segal is actually one of the most useless c*nts in cinema and a pathological liar.

This fruit tried to tell everyone he invented the front kick..

Dude ran from JCVD, after talking sh*t about him.

Seriously, it's actually quite f*cking humorous, I recommend reading up on Segal.. Anyone who thinks Segal is legit needs to get their head checked.

Since Michael Mann's "Heat" was released, action films started taking themselves more seriously and the cheesy 80s films were slowly replaced by darker grittier plots. If you want your film to be taken seriously you've gotta believe the character is real and not just some kung fu guy who does his own stunts.

Obviously it's cool to know that the main character could probably handle himself in real life but do audiences really care that much?
Deaft0ne writes:

Lol pornfly

Seagal is no one to be talking sh*t about anyone. Only his first 5 movies were any good with him peaking in Under Siege. Everything else has been pathetic direct to DVD dreck where he wears a black leather trenchcoat in over half of them to cover his fatness.

Even Van Damme, who is also in direct to DVD movies mostly, at least puts some effort into making them somewhat interesting and engaging to watch.

As far as for Liam Neeson, he's a great actor that is always fun and compelling to watch. He can sell the viewer on anything, even something silly like Non-Stop. THAT'S why he does so many action films Steven, martial arts are not required or being a "warrior".

Stop doing research on seagull you'll just make him more popular.

Hopefully he'll od on the buffet restaurant.he thinks he's the martial arts johny cash.he is like a real life Kenny powers that thinks he's still cool

Steven SeaGull ? A f*cking joke of an action "hero". He was a f*cking joke from his debut to the present. I'd watch Jeff Speakman in a straight to DVD before I ever watch this fat, ear-wrenching sack of sh*t that outlived his 15 minutes 5 minutes into his first f*cking movie.

f*ck this f*cking waste of oxygen.

Hey Steven, at least Liam can f*cking act. And be f*cking heard when he talks.
Max Rockatansky Junior writes:
on June 17th, 2014 at 3:36:35 PM

The only special skill SeaGull seems to have is get into dumbass, f*cking lawsuits.

Dumb f*ck:

Seagal has often been accused of sexual harassment during his film productions.[39][40] In May 1991 during the filming of Out for Justice, Warner Brothers employees Raenne Malone, Nicole Selinger, Christine Keeve and another woman accused Seagal of sexual harassment.[31] Malone and another women reportedly received around $50,000 each in return for a pledge of confidentiality in an out of court settlement.[31][41]

Jenny McCarthy has claimed that Seagal asked her to disrobe for him during an audition for Under Siege 2.[42]

1995 lawsuit
In 1995, Seagal was charged with employment discrimination, sexual harassment and breach of contract.[39] Cheryl Shuman filed a case against Seagal, accusing him of threatening and beating her during the filming of On Deadly Ground.[39] The case was dismissed by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Hiroshi Fujisaki in August 1995 as "repetitive and unintelligible."[39]

2010 lawsuit
On April 12, 2010, 23-year-old Kayden Nguyen filed a lawsuit against Seagal in Los Angeles County Superior Court claiming sexual harassment, illegal trafficking of females for sex, failure to prevent sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and false representation about employment,[43][44] that specified damages exceeding one million dollars.[43][44][45] On April 13, 2010, the day after Nguyen made the claims, Seagal's attorney, Marty Singer, released this written statement to CBS news: "The lawsuit filed by Kayden Nguyen against Steven Seagal is a ridiculous and absurd claim by a disgruntled ex-employee who was fired for using illegal narcotics."[44] Seagal personally denied the claims, yet he was forced to suspend his show, Steven Seagal: Lawman, while his attorneys attempted to resolve the case privately.[43] On July 14, 2010, three months after Nguyen made her claims against Seagal, the case was voluntarily dismissed by the plaintiff without any public explanation.[46][47]

2011 lawsuit
On August 30, 2011, Steven Seagal was threatened with a lawsuit over his part in a police raid that was taped for his A&E reality show. Jesus Sanchez Llovera is seeking $100,000 in damages and wants a "formal written apology" from Seagal to his children for the death of their puppy, "a beloved family pet." Llovera says his 11-month-old puppy was shot and killed during the raid and that police also killed more than 100 of his roosters.[48] The lawsuit was dismissed in January of 2013.[49]

The only good a Steven Seagal DVD is good for is balancing an uneven dining room table.

Steve sounds biiter and arrogant. Bitter he';s not up for real movies anymore and arrogant because he thinks that just because he knows some martial arts that makes him more qualified for "action" films.

Whatever.
