Watch New "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Set Video, with Thor, Captain America and Tony Stark Posted: June 16th, 2014 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Thanks to CinemaBlend, we now have a new video from the set of "Avengers: Age of Ultron," giving us a look at a scene featuring Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans) and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr). In the scene, we see SHIELD recruits jogging. Witnesses claim that the recruits end up dropping to the ground as the three superheroes prepare for battle. Thor raises his hammer and goes from his sleeveless armor to his "battle" version. Hemsworth's stunt double was present and it seems that the outfits that the recruits are wearing are similar to the outfit we've already seen Quicksilver (Aaron Johnson) wear. Watch the video below and watch the film in theaters on May 1st, 2015.

It always looks so ridiculous to see amateur footage of them filming scenes like this--like they're all just larping or something.

Well that's cool.

@Cannon essentially that's what all superhero movies are. a bunch of overpaid "thespians" cosplaying and larping

No it's not. Double Indemnity if filmmaking. Casablanca is filmmaking. Lawrence of Arabia is filmmaking. Barry Lyndon is filmmaking.
This is greenscreen pantomiming to an invisible orchestra of computer-generated surreality, or what people like Whedon, Abrams and Bay call "filmmaking". I call it synthetic cinema.
Anyway, good for them. More men in tight-tights fighting each other whilst grunting, as if all comic book material isn't really Homeric homoerotic symbolism anyway.

I never said it was great filmmaking, just filmmaking -- to the extent that it's all just a dopey looking illusion behind the scenes.

It still ain't filmmaking, and I thought I made that clear.
