First Look: Tom Hardy and Tom Hardy as Twin Gangsters in "Legend" ThrillerSubmit Comment
Working Title Films just unveiled the first photo from the upcoming "Legend" thriller, which has Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises) as identical twin gangsters who controlled much of London's organized crime in the 1960s. Check it out below.

The new movie is written and directed by Brian Helgeland (42) and co-stars Emily Browning, Christopher Eccleston, Taron Egerton, Tara Fitzgerald, Chazz Palminteri and David Thewlis.

"Legend" has already been picked up for domestic distribution, but a release date has yet to be set.

Does anyone remember the original Krays film with the Kemp brothers? Funny sh*t with a few memorable scenes.

As long as this film doesn't feature any American or other accented character doing a dodgy English accent I'm up for this. I can also see why they cast Tom Hardy as one of the brothers infamously came out as gay in the 60s.

Hey, Tom!

Remember the last movie that had an actor playing twin versions of himself that did this ?

It starred one Jean-Claude Camille François Van Varenberg, also known professionally as Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Can't wait to see your Epic Split on Volvo trucks in your later years.

Good luck.

It's hard to watch Hardy act while knowing he had a massive choad on his chin the previous night.

Should fit this role. If the original Kraus movie was accurate one of the bros is gay...or at least has gay tendencies.

Krays

Bigtime mommas boys.

Actually, Ronnie Kray was "openly bisexual", which meant he had seen a vagina at some point in his adult life. Ronnie even said he never himself gay, but instead bisexual, and he had a three-year affair with a woman named Monica, whom he planned on marrying.

On the other hand, Hardy claims he experimented with men in his "youth", but has long since passed out of that phase.

So that's cool.

Oddly enough, Reggie Kray wasn't gay as far as I can tell, which gives lie to the claim homosexuality is purely genetic, since the Krays were identical twins...

*Ronnie himself even said he was never gay.
