Photos: Statue of Spider-Man With Erection Being Removed From Mall

Photos: Statue of Spider-Man With Erection Being Removed From MallSubmit Comment
About a year ago, artist Eunsuk Yoo created a Spider-Man statue that hangs outside of South Korea's Lotte Shopping Center. The problem is that the statue depicts the superhero with an erection.

It's not difficult to see why such a statue is incredible inappropriate to be placed at a mall, which happens to be right next to a playground. But it's only now that people are complaining and asking for it to be taken down.

Yoo is not shocked by the request and says that his intent was to "apply the natural physical phenomenon to a superhero, depicting what's natural in the morning."

He was also offered the opportunity to simply remove the erection. But Yoo says he would rather not modify his "art" and prefers just to have it removed.

For Crying out loud, Alex, do you really have to put this news just to tell us all about your sexual preferences? We get it, you're gay.

So that South Korea wants to make Spider-Man anatomically correct ? Just make the d*ck shorter.

They wouldn't allow this statue in North Korea because it doesn't have that f*cked up Moe Howard haircut their leader has.

Now if they would just remove this sh*tty reboot franchise from movie history that would be great.

If they had wanted to see a Spidey-erection they should have photographed Alex's face.

@Attos

Regarding your post about the Nightmare on Elm St. Series, I always felt that they were the most creative out of all the slasher movies/series.

I got that box set of the DVDs from FYE on clearance for $25 several years ago and I watch most of them every October because they do hold up.

Halloween, Friday the 13th, and the TCM series don't as much and progressively got worse. Hellraiser is very uneven and so is Child's Play. I like some and hate others.

Draft and Attos-

I have all the nightmares in a set as well but have only seen the first three, Final Nightmare and the remake. Friday the 13th were my favorite growing up. Oddly my favorite is the 8th (Goes to Manhatten) which is rated the worst overall. Lol

Attos writes:

@Tan & Deaft0ne
I haven't actually seen those movies in a very long time, but I definitely remember enjoying the crap out of them as a kid. It was the first horror series that my parents gave me the go-ahead to watch. Then I moved on the The Exorcist, which was the first movie to ever legitimately frighten me.
Deaft0ne writes:

@Tan

Lol@Draft

Beer plz.

@Attos

The first Exorcist is truly disturbing and anyone that disagrees is lying.

The 3rd one was creepy as well and Paul Schrader's prequel was decent.

That's the one I got at FYE for $25 nearly a decade ago. All the special features are included from the singular releases.
