Disney Wants "Might Ducks 4," Just Needs Good Script

Disney Wants "Might Ducks 4," Just Needs Good ScriptSubmit Comment
It's been almost two decades since the third "Mighty Ducks" movie, but it seems that the franchise is far from dead. According to producer Jordan Kerner, "Mighty Ducks 4" just needs a good script to become a reality.

"I'm not going to fuel the rumor mill that it's going to happen," he explained. "But I'm saying to you that [Disney] said to us, 'We'd be interested if you come to us with the right story.' And that's something that we've been all thinking about independently and I think that we may be coming closer to having the right idea for that."

One of the ideas has been to bring one or two of former Ducks, who would now be in their thirties, to become coaches. Another idea would involve the death of Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez).

"Just Needs Good Script"

And an audience that gives a f*ck about this sh*t

If this gets made I don't get why they'd make a number four. Sounds like the sort of thing they'd reboot, bring in some young disney faggots as leads and change the title to something simple like "Ducks" or 'Mighty".

Joshua Jackson ain't doing diddly, you just know he'll be coach just as much as you know this will be straight to video.

Alex can't even cut and paste articles correctly from other sites anymore. Half the articles posted today have misspelled words that could've easily been caught during the proofreading stage, but I guess that would require him to not be lazy.

The articles he chooses to post on this website is ridiculous. Who the f*ck cares about Nicholas Cage wearing a shirt with his face on it? We already know he's bat sh*t crazy.

Lets face it. The only reason anyone comes to this website is for the outdated comment section with no editing function.

@Canon

It's supposed to symbolize his career, or lack there of.

@Gates
Actually Estevez has done some decent directing jobs including "The Way" which starred his father. He just isn't much of an actor anymore.

@everyone
As a kid of the 90's, these films made my childhood. They were nostalgic tales about kids who were underdogs. The movies were fun, the cast always likable, and it was just hard not to like. To make a fourth one be offensive, but seeing as how nothing is sacred it doesn't matter. The third one, surprisingly, ended on a pretty solid note. The movies were never masterpieces but they were fun films. Oh well.

I love these movies and id welcome a fourth as long as at least Estevez, Joshua jackson and golberg return.

Lmao @Cress.
Every damn article..

Seriously, I doubt a sequel will happen. They'll probably just remake it.

Id be game on one condition. They make it for the original fans, and not for kids.

What I mean is R rated; possibly pg13. Make it more raunchy and adult. Bring back some of the cast like jackson, and have them somehow getting roped into a adult amateur hockey game, maybe like a workplace comedy where one company against another in a league or something.

Make it like GOON but with callbacks to the originals and some of the cast if not all back. Hell bring estevez back to coach.

And while u are at it bring in charlie his bro as the enemy teams coach. Be f*cking hilarious

@vincere01
Strangely the idea I was thinking was the entire team returning to play again the professional team they inspired under the idea of it being a gimmick to get attention for hockey by the owners.
Sleuth1989 writes:

It probably be PG-13 though in my mind. The Mighty Ducks were never super crude and I can't imagine, even as adults, you'd make an R rated MD film.

If they are gonna consider killing off Emilio Estevez' character, they can bring in Charlie Sheen as a character that calls all the kids' parents "Yiddish schmucks" and change their names to "Tiger Wizards" ... and yelling "Winning!" every time they get a goal.

Hell, its f*cking Disney. And we all know Disney is Anti-Semite.

I mean, how good does the script need to be? It's not like the rest of the series was all that well-written to begin with.

...Not really hard to come up with a story there Hollywood. Here you go:

1. All ducks went their separate ways in life
2. Adam's f*cked up wrist got hurt again in the NHL and was forced to retire early (a la gordon bombay's knee in AAA)
3. Somebody important dies...Bombay or whoeverthef*ckcares
4. They all decide to play rec league or form a AA team or join some amateur league.
5. Cliche "beat the evil other team, overcome some sort of problem along the way"
6. Guy finally f*cks Connie
7. Kenny Wu serves a purpose
8. They beat the evil other team in honor of whoever died
9. End movie with another Queen campfire singalong

...come to think of it Goldberg should be the one to die that porker.

there...now take my money you unoriginal bastards.
