Jeremy Renner Confirms Return for "Mission: Impossible 5"Submit Comment
We already know that Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg will return for "Mission: Impossible 5," and now comes word that Jeremy Renner will also reprise his role as William Brandt.

When asked if he would be interested in starring in a second season of "True Detective," Renner said: "It's kind of unlikely. In fact, I'm kind of strapped time-wise doing 'Avengers 2,' and 'Mission: Impossible 5' is rearing its head, and then they want to do another 'Bourne' movie. It's unlikely I can find the time right now."

"Mission: Impossible 5" will be directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who wrote Cruise's "Edge of Tomorrow" and directed Cruise's "Jack Reacher." It's set to hit theaters on December 25th, 2015.

Maybe they can kill you in the opening sequence like they did with Josh Holloway.

The 4th was probably My favorite In the series. Hopefully they do a good job with this one too.

Brad Bird needs to direct this.

^^^ I actually prefer the new director everytime approach. Worked wonders so far. Each film has been able to set itself apart and have a different feel. Tom has perfect instincts when it comes to how to keep a franchise fresh.

What would be cool would be to get spielberg to do one. He has always wanted to do a bond movie so he might actually be interested, and tom has worked with him before a few times.

Why not ? He's already stunk up another franchise ... it's only a matter of time before he stinks up this one.

He must have gotten bored protecting his pot of gold.
