First Posters for "Gotham" and "Flash" TV SeriesSubmit Comment
Fox just unveiled the first promo poster for its upcoming "Batman" prequel TV series, called "Gotham." Meanwhile, CW released a poster for its "Flash" TV series, based on the popular DC superhero. Check out both below.

Gotham: The show focuses on Gotham cop James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) as he attempts to solve his biggest case, the murder of the Wayne family. It's expected to air this fall and feature such villains as The Penguin, The Joker, Poison Ivy, The Riddler, and Catwoman.

Flash: Grant Gustin stars as the superhero, along with Candice Patton as Iris West, Jesse L. Martin as Iris's father Detective West, Michelle Harrison as Barry's mother Nora Allen and many others, including John Wesley Shipp, from the original "The Flash" TV series, in an unspecified role.

Honestly looking forward to Flash. As for Gotham, well, I really want to be excited about it, but...

Gustin seems fine
but in The Flash costume his face looks like Annie Lennox

I really want to see a well done Flash show. I really really do. But when it's followed by "coming to CW", my hope is immediately erased.

Name one good show that was ever on the CW.
Just one.

The top poster could use a little more blue.

Both of these series scream "fail". This is the same television network that had "Smallville" ..

@Attos

If you're talking cult following: Felicity, Supernatural, Veronica Mars and Buffy, the Vampire Slayer.

If you're talking superheroes .... welllll ....

Lol, unfortunately "cult following" rarely actually translates to "good". Because all of the shows you mentioned are completely terrible.

This is going to be no better than Smallville or Arrow. Another melodramatic pile of sh*t aimed at 12-to-16-year-olds with no sense of taste.

I also like how they pretend that a 13 year old girl could run around the streets of Gotham looking that ridiculous without someone beating her to death. And/or raping her. Gotham is not a place for children.

Straw man: the little girl is in the company of a much larger male adult. And Gotham isn't a incessant den of crime and corruption.

*an

@mink
I mean, yeah... it sort of is.
And I was talking about their version of Catwoman. Apparently it's cool for some little kid to run around pretending to be a jewel thief, or whatever the f*ck they say her story is in this one.
Lol, I definitely wasn't implying anything about whoever the girl in the striped shirt is. Nor was I saying that any little girl outside of her house is in danger of being beaten or raped. But someone would almost definitely throw tiny Catwoman out of a window.
