"The Other Woman" Takes Box Office Crown From "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"Submit Comment
After three consecutive weekend on top, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" had to settle for second place at the domestic box office due to the impressive performance of "The Other Woman," starring Cameron Diaz Leslie Mann and Kate Upton.

The new comedy grossed $24.7 million at home and another $20.6 million for a worldwide debut of $45.3 million. The film cost only $40 million to make, which means that it's already considered profitable. It has a 25% fresh rating on RottenTomatoes.

"The Winter Soldier," meanwhile, took in another $16 million for a new worldwide gross of $645 million, becoming the top-grossing April release of all time in North America.

"Brick Mansions," which is Paul Walker's second-to-last film, landed in fifth place with $9.6 million. The action movie cost $28 million and will rely on foreign box office to become profitable. It has a 28% fresh rating.

The other wide release of the weekend was "The Quiet Ones" horror film, which earned $4 million, good enough for tenth place. It has a 39% fresh rating.

Actually, I would say that women as a demographic sat out for the rather boyish Captain America, so that when Captain started slipping, female moviegoers began driving The Other Woman up in terms of receipts. Then there's the movie date angle.

Just saying.

is this mean we will get The Other Woman 2 in 3D?

If by "the other woman", you mean the gorgeous one with the huge knockers, and if by 3D you mean in my face and mouth, then yes, by f*cking god I hope so.

Brick Mansions was a decent movie only because it was a near word-for-word rip of District B13, an equally decent french movie. I definitely thought it would make more money, considering all the buzz Paul Walker had around his death. I guess people didn't care that much.

Cameron Diaz is a plain ugly no talent c*nt that looks like Dolph f*cking Lundgren. If I hear those c*ntS talk at the same time again I will f*cking Kill them.

Anyways haha I actually think "The other Women" could be good. But I'm surprised it surpassed Cap 'Merica 2
