Disney is Considering Moving "Captain America 3" To a Different Release Date

Disney is Considering Moving "Captain America 3" To a Different Release DateSubmit Comment
It all started when Warner Bros moved its "Batman vs Superman" film to be released on May 6th, 2016, the exact date when Marvel will be releasing its third "Captain America" movie.

After that, both Warner Bros and Marvel were asked if they are considering moving to a different release date, but both studio stood firm, refusing to budge, despite that countless experts believe that it's impossible that the movies will end up going against each other in theaters.

Then came word that "Batman vs Superman" will be released a week earlier internationally, with rumors flying that the film will be the first to move its movie domestically.

And while that may still happen, Marvel is starting to rethink its firm stance. While speaking at the Tribeca Film Festival, Disney Chairman Alan Horn was asked whether the studio is considering a different release date for "Captain America 3." He replied: "We'll see. We're struggling with it."

There's still plenty of time before 2016, and it's already starting to seem that the experts were right... "Batman vs Superman" and "Captain America 3" will not be released on the same weekend. Stay tuned.

I just ate a gas-station sandwich.

Just thought I'd share that with the rest of you.

I strongly recommend it with chips.

Didn't the original Batman quadrilogy have June release dates? Also the Nolan trilogy did. Man of Steel was June also.

Batman & Superman's Excellent Adventure should just stick with tradition and release in June too.

Wow. They're "struggling" with it. How superheroic stoic of them to decide whether to make a cool billion dollars one day, or a cool billion dollars a week previous. Amazing. I'm just so glad I don't have their problems.
