We've been hearing rumors about what will happen to Norman Osborn (Chris Cooper) in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" for about a year. Recently, Sony Pictures revealed that he'll be dying in the movie, with many assuming that he will probably fake his own death.

SPOILERS AHEAD:

Today we have a shot from the post-credits scene from "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," showing Norman's cryogenically frozen head. In the scene, we see The Man in the Shadows from "The Amazing Spider-Man" walk up to the head and whisper, "wake up old friend."

So why is Norman dead? Apparently he ended up with a mysterious illness that can only be cured with Peter Parker's blood. Both Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) And Electro (Jamie Foxx) attempt to obtain the superhero's blood, but fail. And as the post-credits scene suggests, a cure has been found and Norman will return in "The Amazing Spider-Man 3."

translation; we see The Man in the Shadows walk up to the head and whisper, "that's not a way to get ahead in life.'

That's a fascinating detail, except for the fact no one was anticipating Norman's return. I don't even recall when he "departed" the series.

I don't know of anyone who gives a rat's ass, Tanman, but I do know of one person who takes a cat's ass.
