Today we have a Japanese trailer for the upcoming big-budget "Jupiter Ascending" sci-fi film, starring Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis, Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth, and James D'Arcy. Check it out below.
Plot: Jupiter Jones (Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning toilets and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along - her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.
The new movie is directed by Andy and Lana Wachowski (The Matrix) and is set to hit 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D theaters on July 18th.

The only thing 'new' about this trailer are the jap subs overlaid on it.

Damn I really want this to be good. I am praying it is but a science fiction film that is off the wall like this that could actually be good would make my day. I'm hoping allowing the Wachowskis to create an original film will work better although I actually liked Cloud Atlas for being such a complex, philosophical film.

Let me guess: There's 95% chance Sean Bean's character will die in this movie.
One has to wonder why the even bother making these movies knowing they're going to fail. It's like they just don't give a f*ck because they don't have to operate under the profit tent of Hollywood ROI, for example Cloud Atlas, which although it failed didn't hurt the siblings with respect to Hollywood because it wasn't funded through it (IIRC).
