FX just unveiled the first teaser trailer for its upcoming "Fargo" TV series, which is based on the 1996 Oscar-nominated film. The teaser doesn't show much, but introduces us to Lorne Malvo, played by Billy Bob Thornton. Check it out below.
The story focuses on Lorne Malvo (Thornton), a manipulative man who meets and forever changes the life of small town insurance salesman, Lester Nygaard (Martin Freeman). Colin Hanks plays Duluth Police Deputy Gus Grimly, a single dad who must choose between his own personal safety and his duty as a policeman when he comes face-to-face with a killer. Allison Tolman also stars as Molly Solverson, an ambitious deputy.
It was also just revealed that Keegan Michael Key and Jordan Peele, from the popular "Key and Peele" show, have also joined the cast. They will play two FBI agents looking for Malvo.
"Fargo," which is produced by the Coen brothers, is a limited 10-episode series. It co-stars Bob Odenkirk, Oliver Platt, Kate Walsh, and Glenn Howerton, and is set to premiere on April 15th.

Could be decent if they're keeping it to a ten episode run. Had they said they were going to run the damned thing indefinitely, I'd have something more negative to say.

Fargo, in my top 5 all time movies, maybe #1. I'm not sure if they can capture the same feel of the movie, and I hate all tv series, but it has a strong cast and Coen brothers producing so maybe it will be good.
