David Fincher May Direct Steve Jobs BiopicSubmit Comment
David Fincher is the director of "The Social Network," about Mark Zuckerberg and his Facebook company. Now comes word that Fincher is in talks to take on another tech billionaire, Steve Jobs.

The film is based on Walter Isaacson's best-selling biography of the Apple co-founder, which has been adapted by Oscar-winning writer Aaron Sorkin, who worked with Fincher on "The Social Network."

The story of Jobs' life was already turned into a film, called "JOBS," starring Ashton Kutcher. It's considered a failure, having grossed only $35 million at the worldwide box office. But Sorkin's version is a more high-profile project and even has Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak participating as a consultant.

Back in 2012, Sorkin revealed that the "entire movie is going to be three scenes and three scenes only. That all take place in real time. There will be no time cuts and each will take place before a product launch. Backstage before a product launch. The first one being the Mac, the second one being NeXT, after he had left Apple. And the third one being the iPod."
