A24 just unveiled the full trailer for the upcoming "Under the Skin" sci-fi film, which is directed by Jonathan Glazer (Sexy Beast) and stars Scarlett Johansson as an alien. Check it out below.
In the movie, Johansson will scour remote highways and desolate scenery looking to use her greatest weapon to snake human prey - her voracious sexuality. Her goal is to abduct hitchhikers and take them back to her home world, where human meat is considered a delicacy.
She is deadly efficient, but over time becomes drawn to and changed by the complexity of life on earth. With this new found humanity and weakening alien resolve, she finds herself on a collision course with her own kind. Taking her point of view throughout, the film presents a unique look at our world through alien eyes.
"Under the Skin" is set to hit theaters on April 4th, in limited release.

If she doesn't strip down and do some dirty-dirty, then a wonderful opportunity was missed.
And Sexy Beast sucked.

"Her goal is to abduct hitchhikers and take them back to her home world, where human meat is considered a delicacy."
So, instead of using a net and a really big ship, she goes to all this f*cking trouble to nab one human at a time? Does she eat women? Will their be lesbian scenes?
Methinks someone thought the fastest way to notoriety would be through a sexy film with Scarlett Johannson...

Too much aping of David Lynch's style with this movie. Also several shots look like a lot of scenes from Lost Highway specifically.

@mink- why would she use a big ship if she is trying to veil the reality of extraterrestrial beings? Despite that, this movie still seems lazy in its idea. If here shape-shifting, malign species are so technologically advanced that they could warp space and time, why couldn't they use the cells of one human and make a myriad clones, thus an endless buffet. Or they would most likely invade us...This story would make sense if she were stranded on this planet, alone.

But if Scarlett is willing to show her boobies then the movie may be descent.

Kinda sounds like species lol

the alien in Species just wanted to procreate
this alien just wants to feed her race one happy meal at a time
maybe in the sequel she can solve her planets drought problem by stealing wet gym socks

this movie is definitely inspired by "my step mom is an alien" with dan ankroyd and kim basinger from the late 80s.

The poster reminded me that sci-fi movie with Ziggy "f*cking" Stardust, but it doesn't seems like it predates from that movie.
This movie looks like a Jonathan Glazer movie.
I know Lynch is very well known for his abstract imagery, editing and shots, and sound.
This movie looks good, I enjoyed both Sexy Beast and Birth, the second one specifically because Jean Claude Carrier, colaborator with Luis Bu˝uel in many of his films, wrote parts of that script Birth.
I like the video Rabbit in your head-lights so here it is.
