Today we have the first teaser trailer for "The Face of an Angel" film, which is based on the story of Amanda Knox, who was convicted of killing her roommate in 2009, spending two years in prison for the crime, before having her sentence overturned. Check it out below.
Even though the story is based on the book "Angel Face: Sex, Murder and the Inside Story of Amanda Knox," director Michael Winterbottom explained that his movie will not focus on the trial. Instead, the main characters will be a documentary maker (Daniel Bruhl) and a reporter (Kate Beckinsale). And Knox has been renamed to Jessica.
"Our film is actually about losing a daughter, losing someone close to you; why are we so interested in violence and why are we not more interested in love," said the director.
And this is why the film will completely ignore the fact that the Italian Supreme Court once again overturned the rulling in March and sent the case back to a lower court for reconsideration. That lower court recently once again found Knox guilty, leaving the US with the decision whether to extradite her.
Wow. So, a movie NOT about Amanda Knox, but about a bunch of characters who sit around talking about her trial, and whose actions have absolutely no effect on her trial, with Amanda herself renamed as Jessica.
Can't believe I'm saying this, but, I think I'd rather watch Optimus Prime with a sword riding a dinobot.
Actually, no, I probably wouldn't. Still f*ck off, Bay.

Yes indeed, this is useless and pointless.
What's even more appalling is the Italian Supreme court believing Knox when she simply said that she didn't kill her and they released her simply like that. There were 3 people in that room and their stupid game ended up slitting Kercher's throat!
I' don't have cable and don't keep up with the news at all, really.
Just looked this Amanda Knox up.
First thought was that she was HOT as hell! Like, Kate Beckinsale hot.
I then read a couple things on what she did. She stabbed her roommate because she didn't want to bang her?
Anyways. I haven't even watched the trailer yet.
Buy yea, that Knox chick may be a psycho killer, but I would have never turned down her advances in the first place.

^^She didn't kill anyone, retard.
"There were 3 people in that room and their stupid game ended up slitting Kercher's throat!"
There were only two people in the room, Retardimus Prime, not three. Kercher and Rudy Geude.
Only Geude's DNA was found anywhere within the room, except for a tiny bra clasp that skirted the floor of Kercher's room for 47 days, rendering whatever minute DNA found of zero evidentiary value.
I really wish you people would learn the actual facts before speaking, but this is the internet, where such behavior is not only common but obligatory.

No you f*cking idiot, 3 as in 2 + 1 , Kercher, Foxyu Knoxy and the Italian wap!
f*cking genius you are alright!
minkowskiwrites: on February 4th, 2014 at 5:22:31 PM
Neither of them were in the room, genius. Only Geude. His DNA was found all over the place. Knox's and Sollecito's were not. And Amanda Knox received her nickname when she was eight years old for her soccer moves.
Stop reading The Daily Mail and try an actual book for once, if you can handle the lack of pictures.

Actually, the US hasn't arrived at the point of extradition because there's another appeal in the wings...

I went to college in Perugia back in 2007. The only thing positive about that case was that since then I've never had to explain where the hell Perugia actually is.
