Paramount Pictures just unveiled a new poster for Darren Aronofsky's $130 million biblical epic "Noah," starring Russell Crowe as the title character. Check it out below.

The story follows the biblical tale of a man (Crowe) who is given the mission to build a giant vessel that can house two of every animal from the earth to save them from a giant flood that will wipe all life for a new beginning.

The new movie co-stars Jennifer Connely, Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson, Ray Winstone and Logan Lerman, and is set to hit theaters on March 28th.

Recently, a four thousand year-old tablet was found that provides more details on the so-called flood

http://religion.blogs.cnn.com/2014/01/28/new-discovery-raises-flood-of-questions-about-noahs-ark/

That faint humming sound you’ve heard recently is the scholarly world of the Bible and archaeology abuzz over the discovery of the oldest known Mesopotamian version of the famous Flood story.

A British scholar has found that a 4,000-year-old cuneiform tablet from what is now Iraq contains a story similar to the biblical account of Noah’s Ark.

...basically...Noah's ark is probably based on fact. Notice I said "based on", like how The Matrix is "based on" computer science...

What some people forget is that the bible has been translated so many times and certain details were either left out or just wasn't explained probably due to our lack of vocabulary at the time. Where am I going with this? A lot of people argue "How is it possible to fit 2 of every single animal including the ones that bite, eat humans, attack people etc." People forget that the Christian Bible is not the only Bible or historical reference tool out there. Every religion has their own account of a great flood. Noah wasn't the only person to carry living things on a vessel. and you have to remember how huge Earth is to begin with, as far as different land masses that could have been good to go like Australia and their kangaroos. Lol. the Noah story is only covered where they were and where they ended up when the waters dissipated. The flood really did happen though. All the sunken cities and artifacts and the whole atlantis thing. Those are really just cities or structures that were gobbled up by the flood. Okay I'll get off my soap box.
