Marvel recently confirmed that Ben Kingsley will return as The Mandarin/Trevor Slattery in a new short film, called "All Hail the King," which will be released on February 25th on the Blu-ray release of "Thor: The Dark World."

Today, we have the first clip from the short, giving us a look at both the humorous and serious sides of it. It's only 72 seconds long, while the full short is actually 14 minutes. Watch the clip below.

"All Hail the King" is written and directed by "Iron Man 3" writer Drew Pearce. It co-stars Scoot McNairy (Argo) as a documentary filmmaker.

A clip from a short based on a movie.

I think I'll just wait till the clip from the teaser from the trailer from the movie arrives instead.

I might actually give this a chance because it has Ben Kingsley, but my expectations will be low!

Ben must have had some contractual obligation

Nah, just Marvel's way of coercing people to buy that sh*tty and forgettable follow-up to the average-at-best first Thor film.

And some people think I'm a pretentious douchebag (shut up, Cress).

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1211956/board/nest/224435934?ref_=tt_bd_1

So this guy's entire beef with Escape Plan is, was the fact he thought the government, or the private mercenaries thereof, wouldn't hold a "passel" of prisoners on a big boat, and instead should have just murdered them instead, even though even the American government isn't known for murdering terrorists or prisoners-of-war, and even though they *are* well-known for black prisons and off-site detention centers, and even though they have billions of off-the-books funds to do what they hell they want. No, a Blackwater type of Quantanamo, but at sea, is his problem with the film. And Stallone's eyebrow.

Instead, the government should just murder these people, because of course no one is ever going to ask where did so-and-so Mr. Muhammed Rendition go, because that would prompt a reply of "we killed them" to the entire world.

Yeah, THAT'S practical.

Forget the slack pacing, the terrible characters, the horrid action, the laughable gunfights, the old-man with hair dye and Botox routine, or the wretched silliness of going to prison to escape from prison last seen done well during Prison Break, season one, no, this guy thinks a floating detention center, a retro-fitted tanker ship large enough to hold a small city, is just way too far-fetched and impractical an idea, even though converting the hold of such a ship into a prison is entirely feasible, especially when you have nearly unlimited funds and a desire to not have to explain where all those prisoners went, the ones you hastily murdered.

It's like the poster never saw Captain Phillips or something, like he never saw into how such a ship can happily harbor many men for long periods of time, and yet not one person on IMDb tries to set him right, but I guess if you have a pretentiously douchebag moniker and you're uttering an ass-load of useless and extraneous rhetoric on qualitative easing, people will blow you for free.

So what the hell am I doing wrong?
