Quentin Tarantino's Next Film is "The Hateful Eight," Two Actors Being Considered

Quentin Tarantino recently revealed that his next film will once again be a Western, but will not have anything to do with "Django Unchained." Now comes word that the working title of that film is "The Hateful Eight."

Tarantino has already finished a draft of the script and is now in the process of showing it to a few actors, including Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained, Inglourious Basterds) and Bruce Dern (Nebraska).

While very little has been confirmed, The Hollywood Reporter claims that Tarantino will begin filming "The Hateful Eight" this summer. Stay tuned.

Stupid title, guess it's a riff on the magnificent 7. Hope he changes it to something more original.

I f*cking want a Sci-Fi tarantino film, I don't even care if it's a Star Wars rip-off with sh*t ton of blood... I would like to see something like that but I don't want "Machete Kills Again... In Space!" to pull off some dogsh*t move on that. Unfortunately that would never happen.

I wonder what Machete Kills would have been like if Tarantino directed it and not Rodriguez, who f*cking sucks at sequels!

Give me Tarantino and Waltz all day long. I'd watch a Tarantino film where Waltz cooks soup for 150 minutes.

Sequel to Pulp Fiction anyone!? LOL Can you imagine...

Tanman,

I'd be all for it. 100% all for it.

a pulp fiction sequel would be epic in ways...but nobody would seem to be against it...samuel l. jackson is more than capable at reprising his role...bruce willis could use a better comeback since die hard had its moment and died hard...would like to see tim roth come back into a tarantino film again...and @ FrancoUnAmerican, a sci-fi tarantino film sounds sick too

i can imagine a pulp fiction sequel...only thing that worries me about that, seeing new characters, portrayed by a wrongly casted actor/actress...although sometimes that works backwards too, a good actor or actress desperately trying to make a character have appeal when the character just seems to have none

Google The Vega Brothers. Tarantino was planning a prequel at one time that would have starred Travolta and Michael Madsen in Amsterdam prior to the events of Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.

At no time has Quentin ever mentioned a sequel to Pulp Fiction.

The Hateful Eight.

Let me guess...eight black former slaves now cowboys run around the Old West killing whitey, and self-loathing, spineless, gutless white people will rush to see it, once again proving their stupidity.

Nope. Tarantino and Cameron no longer get my money, not that they ever did.

@Deaftone: no one said he was planning a sequel, they said "what if?" or "can you imagine?".

"Big difference".
DriveMemento writes:

@ Minkowski

yeah cause Christoph Waltz and Bruce Dern are black?!

I hope its exactly what you said but about 8 outlaws, Tarantino is a genius and a master at his craft.

no one writes dialog/poetry AND directs like Tarantino. The master at what he does.
minkowski writes:

Waltz and Dern will play either the bad white people, or the good white people who aid the good black people.

And Tarantino is only a master of long, boring exposition (Inglorious Basterds, for example) and ripping off 70s exploitation films (Jackie Brown).
