Trailer for "Son of God" Film, a Two-Hour Version of "The Bible" Mini-Series Posted: November 25th, 2013 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
After the success of "The Bible" mini-series, the producers decided to cut the 10-part story down to a two hour movie, called "Son of God." And today, we have the trailer for the film. Check it out below. The official description states: This major motion picture event — an experience created to be shared among families and communities across the US — brings the story of Jesus' life to audiences through compelling cinematic storytelling that is both powerful and inspirational. Told with the scope and scale of an action epic, the film features powerful performances, exotic locales, dazzling visual effects and a rich orchestral score from Oscar-winner Hans Zimmer. Portuguese actor Diogo Morgado portrays the role of Jesus as the film spans from his humble birth through his teachings, crucifixion and ultimate resurrection. "Son of God" is set to hit theaters on February 28th, 2014.

Sorry I don't let fictional characters run my life.

Meh...this film...with that big of a scope... with so many watching...sometimes these projects have a tendency to have an agenda all of its own.
But hey, if this makes even some people closer to God, get their Bible and renew their faith to bring them peace, help themselves find solace through hard times/ loneliness/ despair, or reminds to be grateful to how blessed they are helping their less fortunate fellow man before themselves especially in these selfish, greedy, and cynical times...
Eh, why not?

I heard they wanted to make a ten-hour biopic on George W. Bush, but they couldn't get the rights to the title "Son of a Bitch" from Kanye West.

"This major motion picture event"
So major it was cut back from ten to two hours.
"an experience created to be shared among families and communities across the US"
In other words, meant to be shared by dirty people with two teeth sacrificing goats to Jebus somewhere in rural Kansas between the corn shucker and the outhouse.
"brings the story of Jesus' life to audiences through compelling cinematic storytelling that is both powerful and inspirational."
Because people are inspired by a man so stupid and delusional he ran his mouth just long enough to make his entire community hate him enough to nail him to a f*cking cross, right?
I feel inspired already.
"Told with the scope and scale of an action epic"
...because nothing says "life of Jesus" like comparing your film to Last Action Hero.
"the film features powerful performances"
By people no one knows.
Because nothing says exotic like the f*cking desert, right?
"dazzling visual effects"
...because this is obviously a competitor to Avatar....
"and a rich orchestral score from Oscar-winner Hans Zimmer."
BWAM, BWAM, BWAAAAAAAMMMMMMM!
"Portuguese actor Diogo Morgado portrays the role of Jesus"
Ah yes, those gosh-darned Hispanic Semites.
"as the film spans from his humble birth"
I had no idea the act of dropping a litter could be described in terms of ego.
"through his teachings, crucifixion and ultimate resurrection."
Yeah, sure, whatever.
