DreamWorks has unveiled a new trailer for "Need for Speed," which is based on the popular video game franchise and stars Aaron Paul, Imogen Poots, Dominic Cooper, Ramon Rodriguez, Scott 'Kid Cudi' Mescudi, Michael Keaton and Dakota Johnson. Check it out below.
Plot: Framed for a crime he didn't commit, muscle car mechanic and street racer Tobey (Paul) gets out of prison determined to settle the score with the man (Cooper) responsible for his false conviction.
The new movie is directed by Scott Waugh (Act of Valor) and is set to hit theaters on March 14th, 2014.
A KNIGHT RIDER movie would be about as successful as THE A-TEAM movie, which is not very. f*ck, let's just make a RIPTIDE movie while we're at it. Joe Penny and Perry King need work.

"A KNIGHT RIDER movie would be about as successful as THE A-TEAM movie"
Why? Was Skipp Woods hired to ruin that one, too?
But seriously, a Knight Rider movie would revolve around an awesome car, a cool driver and a hot chick. Wouldn't cost 110 million like that ridiculous A-Team crap with the flying CGI tank and the stupid shell-game finale. And no expensive ensemble cast either.

You know, we all bore witness to the very same negativity when they announced the 21 Jump Street reboot, and as a f*cking comedy to boot?! No way! But look how it turned out.
The right cast, the right attitude, direction and script, any property can be reinvented, even Airwolf or Blue Thunder.
Seriously, I want a goddamn SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN movie. That show was one of the biggest series of the 70s.

They should make a movie adaptation of that Werewolf TV Series that was a fantastic show, very very cool and well written, not to mention the f*cking myth around the wolfmen.

Biggest problem with The A-team was they tried to take the television show to the big screen. Big mistake. They should have reinvented the thing. Cast Taters as Hannibal or something. I'm not even f*cking kidding. Had some better set pieces. Some good humor that would have looked good on a trailer.
You just can't take what was already done some three decades or so ago and throw it up on the screen and think people will care.

I mean, hell, look at GI JOE and Transformers, f*cking 80s CARTOONS, turned into movies that really don't much resemble their Saturday morning counterparts and yet both made good box office money.
All about the approach and attitude. If they had made GI JOE into a straight-up adaptation of the cartoon, it would have flopped. Same for Transformers.
Skipp Wood's approach would have worked in 1989, but not in 2009.

Before you said you liked The A-Team movie, I enjoyed it and the casting was spot-on imo.
A Six Million Dollar Man movie was in the works like a decade ago with Russell Crowe attached as Steve Austin. Budget and script issues ultimately derailed it.
