Photo: "Man of Steel" Blu-ray Hints at Doomsday's Appearance in Sequel

Photo: "Man of Steel" Blu-ray Hints at DoomsdaySubmit Comment
"Man of Steel" is set to be released Blu-ray on Tuesday (November 12th), but Warner Bros has been sending out copies of the movie to critics all last week. And now, we have a screenshot from the Blu-ray, which is hinting at a future appearance by a popular Superman villain.

The screenshot shows a scrambled image with Kryptonian symbols on on it. But there is also English text that says "We remember those who fell during the Last War" and "Beware Bertron's curse, for he is named Doomsday."

The screenshot looks exactly like when General Zod (Michael Shannon) took over television broadcasts in "Man of Steel". It's not clear if this particular shot is from that or from some Blu-ray intro. Check it out below.

Can't wait to see how Zack Snyder f*cks up this can't-miss opportunity.

@Dreamcast
I don't know how he could mess this up?! Doomsday is pretty much there to cause mayhem and destruction which seems mostly visual in nature to handle.

@Sleuth

Regarding me calling Gina Carano a UFC slut, i'm referring to this image:

http://img.mixedmartialarts.com/method=get&s=gina-carano.jpg

She was apparently at some MMA convention walking around in that the entire time and imo that's pretty slutty.

@Deaft0ne
While I understand your perspective, I feel one outfit shouldn't keep from the fact she would be physically and personality-wise great for the role. She may not be motherly like Lynn Collins but we need a physically-competent woman who looks like she can match wits with Superman and Batman.

Agree to disagree, Sleuth.

So shes a slut cause she has a nice athletic body and can pull it off by wearing sexy outfits.

Gotcha.

Is not like she takes multiple c*cks in her twat like sasha grey

@bando
Thank you! She's sexy and she probably would kick the ass of anyone who looked at her the wrong way.

I've always bitched of how ALL the Superman, like Batman, the movies go at a snails pace of incorporating the rogue's gallery and always refer to the origins or flashbacks...

Now it has done a total 180 jumpstarting and going leap and bounds to jam as much as DC superheroes as possible to what? Build up a bigger villain like Avengers? To hurry up the JLA?

DC tried going one by one, by Green Lantern flop and inability to put others on the screen from indecisiveness has really led to scrapping anything as a build up and going to the extreme and just throwing all the characters ASAP.

That might sound pretty good, but it gives too much too fast...hoping the audience can keep up and not pack so many names that it'll lose many on an unprepared/ weak script...

In an upside, if there's anyone that can whiz through the origins and set up a plot is Snyder...Watchmen is a great example of this.

In a downside, if they don't pull it off, DC will have dumped on so many characters that picking all the shattered pieces to repair will be a real bitch and would have lost all credibility to a paying audience (especially fanboys..).

Sad to think such an awesome villain will be wasted in a film like Batman vs Superman instead of a proper Superman series instead.

How epic the Superman reboot could have been, if only in the right hands.

Pretty sure there will never be a good Superman movie ever again... Sadly 1and 2 is the best we will probably get...
