Today we have the trailer for the upcoming "Winter's Tale" fantasy film, starring Colin Farrell, Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, William Hurt, and Jessica Brown Findlay. Check it out below.
Plot: One night in winter, Peter Lake (Farrell), orphan and master-mechanic, attempts to rob a fortress-like mansion. Though he thinks the house is empty, the daughter of the house is home. Thus begins the love between Peter, a middle-aged Irish burglar, and Beverly Penn (Findlay), a young girl, who is dying.
"Winter's Tale" is the directorial debut of Akiva Goldsman, the Oscar-winning writer of "A Beautiful Mind," "I Robot," "Cinderella Man," "The Da Vinci Code" and "I Am Legend." The movie is based on a 1983 novel by Mark Helprin and is set to hit theaters on February 14th, 2014.
Colin Farrell should stick to comedy. And yes, that hair is f*cking incredible!

Strange trailer. Its like the director realized halfway through the movie that he was just remaking Far and Away and scrambled some time travelling bullsh*t together for the second half so he wouldn't get sued.

Those curtains! They're magnificent. (Yes, the hair.)
Is time travel becoming the new vampire movie, the new ridiculous train that directors are gonna start jumping on just to make the film slightly more interesting. What does a horse shoe do, are there any horse socks? Is anybody even listening to me?

Looks like the worst thing Akiva Goldsman has ever done. And judging from his script credits (Batman & Robin, Lost in Space, A Beautiful Mind, and The Da Vinci Code/I, Robot/I Am Legend trilogy of sh*tty adaptations), that's really saying something.
