Marvel Says "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Will Explain Why Superheroes Didn't Re-Team in "Iron Man 3" and "Thor 2"

Marvel Says "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Will Explain Why Superheroes DidnSubmit Comment
During a recent interview with Kevin Feige, Marvel head spoke about "Avengers: Age of Ultron," explaining that it will be clear why all the superheroes will re-unite, especially since they didn't assist in "Iron Man 3," "Captain America 2" and "Thor 2."

"It will be clear why they have come back together in this film," he said. "Which I hope kind of makes it clear retroactively why they didn't get together at the end of 'Iron Man 3.' Why they didn't get together to help Thor save London in ['Thor: The Dark World']. Some of that will be clear in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier.' And I think I've said that ['Captain America 2'] is the link between 'Avengers' and 'Avengers: Age of Ultron.'"

When asked if Ultron wll be built by Tony Stark, Feige replied: "We are adapting [Ultron's] origins from the comics, and in the comics it was Hank Pym [who created him]. Hank Pym is not in 'Age of Ultron,' so we are tweaking it. We do think there's another character we have that is quite good with [artificial intelligence], so smart people can make assumptions which I can not confirm or deny."

Thor got wind of Iron Man's PTSD freak-out caused by a kid in a restaurant, and was too busy laughing his ass off in Asgard.

I could care less why they didn't.

They weren't in those movies because they're movies, and none of the characters are real.

Also, why would Stark NOT be the inventor of Ultron at this point? It makes perfect sense to have his actions serve as the main catalyst of the story, as opposed to introducing some other super genius character who is not Stark nor Pym. What's the point of that?

What, are they gonna bring in Reed Richards all-the-sudden? Who else is there, Beast? He's off limits. Just stick with Stark, you f*cking nimrods.

who is it going to hurt if they stay truthful to the comics about Pym creating Ultron?

white people always taking something already established and choppin it up
then they throw you a lil check and negotiate some loop hole riddled contract

a fat black Renfield here
an asian chic Watson there is fine
but changing an entire origin story is taking it too far

I would assume that the reason that the Avengers didn't come together in the end of Iron Man 3 is for the same reason they don't in the comics.

Shield probably figured Iron Man could handle it, and the Avengers typically come together for issues that affect or endanger the entire earth.

40 remote controlled Iron Men and Don Cheadle with a gun can handle a stupid plot twist and a punch of oddly powered henchmen

Marvel has to explain nothing if they make it clear, as they apparently already have, The Avengers are for GLOBAL threats and the individual characters are for more local, limited ad/or personal threats, which is what most of us understanding with respect to the question at hand.

Ergo, most of us know what the f*ck is going on and have no further questions.
