New Posters for "Grudge Match" and "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug"Submit Comment
Today we have the first poster for the upcoming "Grudge Match" boxing movie, starring Sylvester Stallone (Rocky) and Robert De Niro (Raging Bull). We also have a massive banner for "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug." Check out both below.

Grudge Match: The story revolves around retired boxers Billy "The Kid" McGuigan (De Niro) and Henry "Razor" Sharp (Stallone), lifelong bitter rivals who are coaxed out of retirement and into the ring for one final grudge match -- 50 years after their last title fight. The movie is directed by Peter Segal (Get Smart, Anger Management) and is set to hit theaters on December 25th.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug: The story continues the adventure of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on a quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor. The movie is directed by Peter Jackson and is set to hit theaters on December 13th.

Which one has a bunch of old-looking nearly-dead things doing a lot of tired, repetitive walking?

It's 2013 and Stallone is still making boxing movies. Jesus...

You forget his plans to cameo in Creed, right?

"The Italian Stallion himself, Sylvester Stallone, will reprise his role, this time as a trainer."

Oh no, I didn't forget. I tried, but you reminded me. Maybe he'll do a film down the line where he tries to clone Adrian from her DNA, and they can live happily ever after. There's always new ways to beat a dead horse.

Clone Adrian? You mean like they cloned Ripley in Alien Resurrection?

Rocky VI???

I can see it now. They clone her from an old toothbrush, but her sample is contaminated by Predator DNA, so they have to send in John Rambo and Dutch (Arnold) to extract her from the concrete jungle of Philadelphia before she uses her alien pheromones to seduce and mate with human males, including Apollo Creed's great-grandson.

I forgot to mention Adrian escapes after using her "Prison Break" tattoos, which are about as informative as that star-map wall painting in Prometheus, to escape from the lab in which she is being held.

God DAMN blockbuster, I tell ya.

The one for Grudge Match is some of the worst photoshoping I've seen in some time. Look at the supporting cast. I mean, jesus. Stop letting children into the work-place.
