Today we have the first clip from "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," giving us a look at a training scene, showing Katniss' archery skills. Check out the clip below.
Plot: Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games - a competition that could change Panem forever.
The new movie is directed by Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend) and is set to hit theaters on November 22nd.

Nice TRON ripoff, guys.
Just what I'd expect from Francis Lawrence, the CGI-schmaltz hack behind I Am Legend and Water for Elephants.

I just don't get the technology behind this world. Like really, take away all my prejudice against the unlikeable lead character and my personal hatred for Jennifer Lawrence, what the hell are the boundaries of this world's technology? Like there are hovercrafts, hologram projectors, genetic mutation, and basically anything else I can think of. There is no set boundaries in this universe. And what makes that funny to me is that somehow the soldiers on the ground don't have advanced weapons but just regular guns. So...what the hell? Twilight at least tried to explain it's universe a little, but Hunger Games Suzanna Collins through in everything in this book with zero thought process.
