Michael B. Jordan Talks "Star Wars: Episode VII," "Independence Day 2," "Fantastic Four" and "Creed"Submit Comment
After two successful movies, "Chronicle" and "Fruitvale Station," Michael B Jordan's name is now mentioned for just about every movie. In a new interview, the actor cleared up some of the rumors.

He first confirmed that he auditioned for an unspecified role in "Star Wars: Episode VII," stating: "Everybody's going in on this project. They're trying to figure out what they want. We'll see [what] happens." He went on to say that unlike Saoirse Ronan's audition, he wasn't asked to demonstrate his lightsaber skills.

Regarding "Independence Day 2," Jordan said: "If that came true, that would be cool."

According to THR, the actor is the only person currently being considered for the role of The Human Torch in the upcoming "Fantastic Four" reboot. The Human Torch is the role that Chris Evans played in the original two films. "Definitely interested in the project," he said. "[Director] Josh Trank is a buddy of mine."

Out of all the projects, Jordan was happy to confirm that he'll be playing the son of Apollo Creed in the upcoming "Rocky" spin-off, called "Creed." The movie will bring Stallone back as Rocky Balboa.

I don't think he'll ever top his performance in Space Jam.

lol. Right. Jordan is 26. Creed's kid would be in his 30s by now. What the f*ck ever. Dude does nothing but talk about the projects he'd like to do, but I've yet to see him in anything beyond his forgettable role in Chronicle, which is from whence his momentary and limited fame sprang.

I've seen him in The Wire, Friday Night Lights and Fruitvale Station and think he's a pretty great actor.

I didn't care for Fruitvale Station overall, but he was good in it.

Have yet to see Chronicle, but I hear good things. Though Max Landis sounds like a huge *sshole.

Star Wars: Episode VII? He can play the son of Lando Calrissian, only black man in the galaxy.

chronicle is an ok film to watch, but only once i'd think...no point in feeding into these guys that they can make a great movie let alone remake one...i mean this guy wants to play human torch, really?...i hope these rich ass idiots realize that us poorer people do have a brain and that we notice things, things that shouldn't be changed or happening...then again it's 20th century fox, doing everything they possibly can to keep a grip on their marvel properties, only to realize if you don't listen to what fans are expecting to see you can bet your ass x-men and fantastic four will become marvel's property as it rightfully should...in the end, i always go back to watching the cartoons of these comics, much more thought and truth to source material...after seeing films like last airbender and dragonball turned into sh*t live action films, hollywood proves to the world they actually can achieve staying true to source material plus have the money and technicians to do so, but for some reason they waste it....sure they make some money but not more than they expected, and on top of that they get a bunch of negative comments from pissed off fans
