New "24" TV Series Takes Jack Bauer to London

New "24" TV Series Takes Jack Bauer to LondonSubmit Comment
Back in May, we reported that 20th Century Fox was looking to bring back "24" as a limited TV series that would have Kiefer Sutherland reprise his role of Jack Bauer.

Now comes word that the new show, called "24: Live Another Day," will consist of 12 episodes and will be filming in London. This is the first time that "24" has left the United States.

"'24' has always had such a global sensibility," said Sutherland. "But to be able to tell this intense '24'-style story with the beauty of Europe's history and architecture as the backdrop is going to be fascinating. Hopefully, by the time you're finished watching an episode, you'll feel like you’ve been there ... on the edge of your seat."

Producer Evan Katz added: "Four years ago, we left Jack a fugitive from justice and we're going to pick him up four years later in London."

"24: Live Another Day" will premiere on Fox in Summer of 2014.

Jeez Alex, it even refers to 24: Redemption taking place out of USA in your source.

While he's there, he'll beat the sh*t out of Sherlock and make that bitch Martin Freeman watch.

Hopefully they won't f*ck this up. It has potential to be ruined and become a spoof of "Die another day"

I want to see Jack Bauer fight god. Now that would be cool. Or have him kick Allah's ass.

They could call it 24: f*ck You Baby Jesus.

Bitching about Alex's mistakes is so 2007. 2013 is more about bitching over him smelling like a dirty Jew.

@Crambo

Really? I feel like I'd be more inclined to watch it if Sutherland were in the lead role.

24 is boring and London won´t change that !!

Yeah Kiefer was attached to play Reddington in the early stages of The Blacklist but a 24 revival was on the horizon even then because Touch was tanking so badly.

i watched the first few eps. of Touch but they kept movin the time slot around and they took too long with new eps.

@pornfly

Both seasons were planned as 13 per season and season 1 aired Thursdays@9 and season 2 was Fridays @9 IIRC.

Didn't he go to Mexico in season 4 for that Salazar drug cartel thing?
Deaft0ne writes:

Lol yeah he did stretch, but it was season 3. I forgot about that because that is the worst season after season 6.

Late to the discussion but f*ck it, Season 3 was awesome!!! Junkie Jack was way more intense and out of control than usual (which is saying a sh*tload). The scene where Jack looses it in his office after he can't shoot up because of his daughter is pure GOLD!!! Plus its the season that Jack finally gets to kill Nina Meyers in truly one of the hardest closing scenes in recent TV history. Its pretty coldblooded and makes the entire season worth it.
