"X-Men" Writer Hired for "Fantastic Four" Reboot

"X-Men" Writer Hired for "Fantastic Four" RebootSubmit Comment
Simon Kinberg, who worked on such comic book films as "X-Men: The Last Stand" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past," has now signed on to write the script for 20th Century Fox's upcoming "Fantastic Four" reboot.

The studio has been working on the reboot for quite some time, with Jeremy Slater, Seth Grahame-Smith (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) and TS Nowlin all having written their own versions of the script. Kinberg has been brought on to completely re-write any previous drafts.

Josh Trank (Chronicle) is directing the new movie, which is set to hit theaters on March 6th, 2015. Casting has yet to begin, but there have been rumors that "Chronicle" star Michael B. Jordan will play Johnny Storm, the role Chris Evans played in the first two films.

Oh, Fox. Just let it go already. Just let it go. Sell that sh*t back to Marvel/Disney, move on to greener pastures.

As long as Fox is rebooting it, it'll suck. Give it back to Marvel so they can do it right. Zzzzzzz.

Fantastic Four was always one of my favorite comics but all 3 film versions were sh*t.

I feel like FF has always been a comic of the era it was created and even though Trank is most likely setting it in present day, i'd like to see a FF film set in the 1960s.
