Jude Law Says "Sherlock Holmes 3" May Still Happen

Jude Law Says "Sherlock Holmes 3" May Still HappenSubmit Comment
Guy Ritchie's "Sherlock Holmes," starring Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law, hit theaters back in 2009 and went on to gross $524 million worldwide on a budget of $90 million. A sequel came two years later, grossing $545 million.

Clearly there's still plenty of interest in the franchise, but a third installment has yet to go in front of the cameras or even be officially announced by Warner Bros. In a new interview with Empire magazine, Law revealed that "Sherlock Holmes 3" may still happen.

"I think Warners want it," said the actor. "And there's a lot of want from us as a team. We want it to be better than the other two. We want to make sure it's smarter and cleverer, but in the same realm."

Law went on to say that the main obstacle is fitting the movie into everyone's schedules. "It's a slow process," he explained. "We're all busy. So getting us together to try to nail that has taken a little bit longer than we had hoped."

I hope it can be out by XMAS 2015, I liked the first 2 and I like seeing all interpretations of the SH character.

Get Shane Black to do it so it can follow the Iron Man trilogy trajectory (Part I: Good, Part II: Bad, Part III: Great).

Game of Shadows was better than the first one Dreamcast so your comparison is not accurate.

Let it die, the other ones were pretty poor films. These 2 definitely should work together on another project doh.

Hopefully it will be better than the second one. Game of Shadows was so convoluted and unfocused. Loved the first.

"Game of Shadows was so convoluted and unfocused."
