Possible "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Plot Synopsis Revealed

Possible "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Plot Synopsis RevealedSubmit Comment
We just showed you the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" teaser that was played at the San Diego Comic-Con. And now a new plot synopsis has appeared on IMDB. Since anyone can post on the website, it may not be accurate. But when Disney was asked for a confirmation, the studio only said is that it's not official. It didn't say that wasn't accurate.

Here's the rumored plot synopsis: "As the US government create a force, known as Ultron, The Avengers are told they are not needed any longer. But when Ultron turns against Humanity, it's time for The Avengers to assemble yet again for their most dangerous challenge ever."

The battle in "The Avengers" caused some serious damage to New York City. That's why it's possible that the US government is no longer interested in having major cities destroyed every time the superhero team is needed. But to protect the country, the government uses Tony Stark's technology to build themselves a robotic superhero that will be just as powerful, but will also be under full control of the US.

At this point, however, this is all just rumors.

Sounds interesting, but the invading aliens caused the destruction, not the Avengers, and any robot or robots battling alien hordes will do no better, so if true, it's a stupid motivation to render The Avengers obsolete.

Just let it be better than IM3 and I'll be a happy Negro.

Sounds like a concept that could yield some good results.

It is clear that the next time any crazy threat pops up, the government would like a 'protector' that is maybe a bit more conscious of the destruction it might be causing. Hulk has no problem running through a building to get to an enemy...a self-aware robot might make a point NOT to cause destruction and damage where it can help it.

I think it is also just as much of a matter of 'The Avengers are independent' and the US government wants something they can control, that they are truly in charge of. They obviously don't want to rely on the notion of 'Oh, we better hope the Avengers are able to come save us'

Makes a lot of sense, when you think about it.

Sounds very similar to the story arc of "justice league unlimited." The cartoon.

Chris G's a f*cking moron if he thinks the Hulk is responsible for even a small fraction of the damage to NYC in The Avengers instead of the invading aliens, not to mention being the one character to provide the instrumental support in saving the planet.

Folks like him have what you call unstructured imagination. They dream about unicorns and magical sh*t, not the sort of things rooted in science or rationality. People like him have very little connection with reality anyway and spend most of their lives in fantasy.

As for the actual issue, yeah, sure, create a robot army to replace The Avengers because there was a slight issue with the Hulk not taking orders, but still refuse to admit that wars cause destruction no matter whether it involves robots or big green men. Never mind that robots just might not have the requisite passion to get the f*cking job done, whereas a robot couldn't care less beyond obeying his orders.

In other words, the people doing the replaing aren't real people with real minds, but caricatures of stereotypical military leaders, which means Avengers 2 won't have even a ghost of genuine characterization, just like the first hunk of popcorn candy-coated sh*t movie.
