First Look: Henry Cavill in "The Man from UNCLE"Submit Comment
Today we have the first photos from the set of "The Man from UNCLE," giving us a look at "Man of Steel" star Henry Cavill. Check out the photos below.

Plot: Set against the backdrop of the early 1960s, at the height of the Cold War, "The Man from UNCLE" centers on CIA agent Solo and KGB agent Kuryakin. Forced to put aside longstanding hostilities, the two team up on a joint mission to stop a mysterious international criminal organization, which is bent on destabilizing the fragile balance of power through the proliferation of nuclear weapons and technology. The duo's only lead is the daughter of a vanished German scientist, who is the key to infiltrating the criminal organization, and they must race against time to find him and prevent a worldwide catastrophe.

The new movie is directed by Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, Snatch) and co-stars Hugh Grant, Armie Hammer and Jared Harris.

Can't wait for the spinoff, 'The Bitch From AUNTIE'.

Well...he can't act. So it should be pretty bad.

The only bad film Guy Ritchie's made so far is Revolver so this should statistically be good.

Sherlock wasn't that good either. Both of them.

Stfu kc, both of them were good. Also Swept Way was Guy Ritchie's worst movie. I liked Revolver.

I didn't even know they were making this sh*t. Will this be anything like that other 60s spy show that was made into a movie? You know, The Avengers?

And if so, will it feature Sean Connery (or any former Bond actor) in a giant pink teddy bear costume? One can only hope.

ehh could be good, but honestly not impressed by armie hammer and cavill.

Maybe Ritchie will make it a fun movie. I've enjoyed most of his films. I'm one of the few people that though Revolver wasn't that bad.

"Swept Away"? i'll just pretend that movie never existed. Happy to say I've never even seen one second of it

If even Tom Cruise said 'no' and the best replacement they could get was Henry Cavill, aka 'the poor man's Sam Worthington' (a Xerox of something that wasn't worth copying in the first place)...then it must be really bad.

He looks decent in the role, but too bad he has all the acting ability of a wooden crate. Guy Ricthie is a win though.
