First Look at Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf in "Fury" Action FilmSubmit Comment
Director David Ayer (End of Watch) has just unveiled a first look at Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Pena and Jon Bernthal from his upcoming "Fury" action film. Check out the photo below.

Plot: The story is set at the very end of World War II, in April 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theater, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and its five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

The new movie is set to hit theaters on November 14th, 2014.

This is just like 'The Dirty Dozen' ...but without the legendary actors and instead called 'The Sanitized Five'.

Wardaddy? I don't know why but I love that name :-)

Looks like a european version of James belushi's sahara.

Looks like it's going to be a cross between "The Beast of War" and "Saving Private Ryan". At least of on a battlefield point of view.

Pitt's okay. He can be good in some films, pointless in others. I will say he's becoming easier to accept as a leading man with age.

The last time LaBeouf didn't irritate me was in Crystal Skull (ironically). Since then, starting immediately after by dissing that very film, he's become such a little bitch who keeps acting-out various manners. Maybe he still just needs to grow up a bit.

The rest of the cast seems decent enough. This David Ayer guy is working his ass off. He just made a film back in 2012 and has two comming out next year: this and Sabatoge (formerly titled Ten) with Schwarzenegger. He's the most promising ingredient of this film.

Why would Pitt do another WWII movie?

Ehhh seems like nothing new. Though its a decent cast besides Shia(hasn't hollywodd gotten the memo everyone hates him?)

OT

The only sh*t movie David Ayer has made was Harsh Times but aside from that he is solid and his Training Day screenplay was FANTAAZTIK as Ahnuld probably told him when he met him before being in TEN SABOTAGES.

I'll see Fury and most of you will too.

Shia in an action movie? No thank you.
minkowski writes:

"Ahnuld probably told him when he met him before being in TEN SABOTAGES"

Actually, the movie is now entitled Sabotage instead of Ten, not Ten Sabotages.

"The only sh*t movie David Ayer has made was Harsh Times"

...and Street Kings, which was just godf*ckingawful. Looked like a made for television version of Heat, and no, not the made for television version of Heat either.

Dark Blue was also largely worthless, although Ayers only wrote it.

Anyway, Skip Woods is writing Sabotage, so you know it's going to be a toss-up.

exactly donyae....cant wait to hear him say NO NO NO NO NOOO NO NOOOOOOO
minkowski writes:

Must be something going on if Ayers isn't writing or directing a crime movie. Then again, he wrote U571, so crime and war movies then.

Definitely a writer/director of limited range.
Deaft0ne writes:
on September 19th, 2013 at 9:35:47 PM

@mink

I know it's called Sabotage instead of Ten now but I imagine Ahnuld calling it TEN SABOTAGES AND THEN YELLING AND PUNCHING THROUGH A WALL AND ALL THESE KIND OF THINGS AAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!! I AM GOING TO RIP YOUR f*ckING HEAD OFF IF YOU DON'T SHUUUUUT UUUUUPPPPP!!!!!

I enjoyed Street Kings.

@Rambo: Nope. Nothing new. Waiting for the Man of Steel BluRay to hit.

Dexter...is almost over, and I'm very, very glad. It's been a long ugly ride since season one, and I'll be pleased to put the show behind me forever.

So it's the Inglourious Basterds but minus the Jew girl plot? Good. I was marketed a movie that was like a new Dirty Dozen but done by Tarantino. Instead I got something different.
