Lucas Black to Return for "Fast and Furious 7"Submit Comment
Vin Diesel already confirmed that "Fast and Furious 7" has officially started shooting in Atlanta. While there are lots of actors returning for the seventh installment, Deadline has now learned that "The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift" star Lucas Black will also reprise his role as Sean Boswell.

"Tokyo Drift" was the third film in the franchise, and with each installment that followed, fans have been hoping that Black would be brought back. It turns out that not only is he returning, but Universal Pictures has big plans for his character since they signed the actor for the 7th, 8th, and 9th "Fast and Furious" installments.

James Wan (Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring) is directing the new movie, which is set to hit theaters on July 11th, 2014.

This actor played the young boy in "Sling Blade"

Cool. The entire series is finally coming full circle. Those Asians know how to make a compelling story arc.

Props to Lin to having the intellect to integrate the largely orphaned and estranged TD brilliantly into his own mythos, which will now be further expanded by yet another seminal Asian helmer James Wan.

No wonder Asians do so well in school. Must be the bigger brains thing going on...

I can see this eventually becoming a TV series.
@Mink man I just checked out that Justice League Flashpoint Paradox and dat sh*t was beyond amazing. It threw me off though cuz it was so graphic which I wasn't expecting at all.

"This actor played the young boy in "Sling Blade""

Yes...he was also "Stevie" in the 1998 X-Files movie, the Texas kid with the thick hick voice who got a new bike and fell down a hole.

His last movie was legion.and fast & furious movies need to f*cking die

@Stuntastic: loved it myself. Excellent story, violent in the way you would think it would be for that kind of plot, and well-executed. Even made Flash the principle hero, which is no mean feat considering how little has been given to his character over the years compared to Supes ad Batman.

Damned shame DC can do animated films so well, and yet can't find their collective asses in the live-action department. Damned shame.

"and fast & furious movies need to f*cking die"

Yeah they do. People love them, the critics don't actually hate them like you would think, they're fun and good summer entertainment harkening back to old-school action, and they make a sh*tload of money across the world.

Yep. They should just stop making them. You're totally right.

Theyre crap except for fast five.diesel head butting some 300 roider and putting him down.totally realistic.

Diesel jumping and catching michelle the dyke rodriguez in the air and not even denting the car.and diesel not breaking any bones at all??
Yea totally f*cking fun old school action right??
bandolero999 writes:

300 pound roider
minkowski writes:

Yeah, you're right. Rocky taking thirty head punches by a guy that can reliably hit 2000PSI and live without major brain damage, much less total f*cking death, or Arnie using a Harrier jumpjet to catch his daughter and "fire" a terrorist is totally realistic, or blowing up a plane by igniting trailing jet fuel with a lighter, or blowing up terrorists with a computer bomb, or...man I could go on all night listing the absolutely ridiculous action of the 80s and 90s without even getting into Long Kiss Goodnight and Last Action Hero territory.
minkowski writes:

Or Commando, Rambo 3, The Rock, Con Air, Armageddon, et ecetera.

Hell, even Aliens and The Abyss had some really far-fetched moments. Youo know, like them outracing an exploding nuclear bomb even though its EMP would travel at nearly the speed of light.

Not exactly a genre known for its realism.

No little bow wow? They should also include him if they want to make the sequel up to FF20.

Yea you should go on all night .is not like you have anything productive to do anyway.the spotlight is all yours.

Arnold, sly movies are guilty cheese pleasures.fast movies are gay.all youre doing is supporting walkers cocaine habits.diesels roids.ludacris and tyreses music and more movie opportunities.they arent exactly denzel or sidney poitier.

But keep sucking more furious c*ck brah.

Aliens and abyss.camerons masterpieces.

True lies his last great movie fake as f*ck though.

I saw that die hard 2 reference mink, you thought you could hide that didn't you! Anyways. What mink is trying to say is:

Would the f*cking movie be any fun at all if it was realistic. Sure he might have made it across and saved Michelle and landed on the car. But him breaking 17 bones is no f*cking fun.

I can agree they go WAY over the top sometimes but what action movie doesn't? Get used to it man lol

@mink

If you remember our discussion few months ago about Flashpoint, didn't I tell you it's gonna kick ass? And I have to mention if you didn't see it, there is a post-credits scene announcing next animated.
