Today we have the first clip from Daniel Radcliffe's upcoming supernatural thriller "Horns." In the clip we can hear the actor use an American accent, which makes him sounds completely different from what we're used to. Check out the clip below.
Plot: Radcliffe plays Ig Perrish, the lead suspect in the violent rape and killing of his girlfriend. Hung over from a night of hard drinking, Ig awakens one morning to find horns starting to grow from his head. Their power drives people to confess sins and give in to selfish impulses -- an effective tool in his quest to discover the circumstances of his girlfriend's death and for exacting revenge.
"Horns" is directed by Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes, Piranha 3D) and based on Joe Hill's book. It co-stars Juno Temple, Joe Anderson, Kelli Garner, Max Minghella and James Remar.

I'm willing to give D-Rad a chance in something besides Harry Potter.

I will say this, Radcliffe his trying his hardest to deviate from his Harry Potter image. I mean seriously he is doing this movie, "Kill Your Darlings", some rom-com, and a film based off a memoir about a reporter in Tokyo. He is trying damn hard but I haven't seen him in anything yet because I didn't want to see Woman in Black. Still, I give props to him and Emma Watson. They are definitely going above and beyond as young actors who, for a decade, were seen as characters in a fairly child-like series although the latter half of the series was more adult. Still, I'm impressed and will give this a try. However, and this is the one reason I am scared of this film, is that it is directed by the guy who did Piranha 3D and The Hills Have Eyes which makes me worry the guy will rely on gratuitous scenes instead of the story and characters.
