Sofia Vergara is Highest-Paid TV Actress, AgainSubmit Comment
Forbes unveiled its list of highest-paid actresses in television, with Sofia Vergara once again taking first place with earnings of $30 million from May of 2012 until May of 2013. This is a big jump from last year, when the actress earned $19 million.

Vergara's money comes from her work on "Modern Family" and endorsement deals with Diet Pepsi, Covergirl and many other companies. She also has a clothing line at Kmart and is an executive producer on the upcoming ABC show "Killer Women."

Kim Kardashian took second place last year with $18 million, but dropped to fourth with $10 million, the same amount as her two sisters. This year, a newcomer to the list took second place, "The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco, who earned $11 million thanks to the show and her deals with Priceline and Toyota.

Check out the full list below:

1. Sofia Vergara - $30 Million

THE LOVE GURU sucked, but the scene where Mike Myers is going around saying the greeting "mariska hargitay" to his guests, then he bumps into Mariska Hargitay was a funny scene.

Also, good for Cuoco. I was never big on that show or anything, but she's a nice piece of ass with a sense of humor. Win-Win.

Jack Nicholson forced to retire due to memory problems, can't remember his lines anymore, sad times, hope he enjoys his retirement! Made some great films in his time

Actually Maria Shriver said that's all bullsh*t. Although Jack has not acted in a film since 2010 and is almost 77. Time will tell if he is really retiring or not.

Looks good, the trailer, but the movie may not be as enjoyable.
bandolero999 writes:

I dont care how much advanced technology the new Robocop has.it will never surpass Verhoeven's masterpiece.

Totall recall with Colin failure is a perfect example.
vincere01 writes:

Trailer actually looks....great. completely caught me offguard. Michael keaton was awesome as usual, gary oldman and sam jackson looked decent as well.

suit looks much better in motion than in those leaks for years. Especially liked the silver suit, looks 10 times better than black. I hope by the end of the film after alex "takes over" he goes back to the classic silver look and the black is only for when he is "under control".

only things I had problems with were the classic lines. Its one thing if sly says old school rocky lines in a new sequel, or arnold says ill be back in terminator 5 thats coming. Whole other thing here with totally new actor. Should have gone original with lines.

however if its only once, in this first film and its a good film than I can let it go.
minkowski writes:

"Totall recall with Colin failure is a perfect example."

And Dredd is a great counterexample.

bandolero999 writes:
on September 5th, 2013 at 10:00:04 PM

I like both dredd versions.but the one with sly has some comedy.the other ones too serious and gritty
minkowski writes:
on September 5th, 2013 at 11:37:42 PM

True, but Dredd has far higher production values, plus the costumes don't look like the sh*t that guy in The Running Man was going to put on to fight Arnie after the Austrian Oak had killed all the working gladiators.
CelluloidMan writes:
on September 6th, 2013 at 1:14:53 AM

Solid Robocop trailer...but I don't envy their jobs. They're remaking a classic.

Besides, Verhoeven's version are pretty big clown shoes to fill. The original was satirizing America and pretty gritty.

Looks like this one will just be a popcorn movie. Like a nostalgic I, Robot, IMO. We'll see.
minkowski writes:
on September 6th, 2013 at 1:23:36 AM

Most audiences these days are too stupid for satire. They watch Spring Breakers and The Bling Ring instead.
