Video: Early Storyboards for "The Avengers" Show The Wasp Posted: August 27th, 2013 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
When "The Avengers" was released, several founding members didn't end up on the team, like Ant-Man and The Wasp. But director Joss Whedon previously revealed that he initially wanted to have The Wasp part of the core team. In fact, the character was included in some early storyboards. Artist Federico D'Alessandro posted four animated storyboards from the movie. One of them includes a scene in which aliens enter Earth for the big battle. In that scene, the camera pans around the team, revealing The Wasp (the one without the guns). As much as Whedon wanted to keep her in the movie, he said that there were already too many characters. But this isn't the last time we'll see The Wasp. She'll likely make an appearance in Edgar Wright's "Ant-Man" film.

THE Wasp, you dumb phuck. She's some bitch who became a super-heroine and joined the Avengers.

Nice storyboards. Color them and they're almost good enough for an animated movie.
But the news itself isn't giving me a buzz.
