Is Ubisoft Building an "Avengers"-Type Franchise with "Assassin's Creed" and "Watch Dogs"?

Is Ubisoft Building an "Avengers"-Type Franchise with "AssassinSubmit Comment
Ubisoft recently announced that in addition to making an "Assassin's Creed" movie, based on its popular video game franchise, it's also making a film based on its "Watch Dogs" video game.

In a new interview, "Assassin's Creed 4" game director Ashraf Ismail revealed that the two games are actually set in the same universe. "I don't want to ruin the surprise for people. I don't want to give anything away," he told ElderGeek. "I will say, for the people who love both games, for the people who will play both games, there are some Easter eggs that will be a bit hard to find, but when you find them, it will blow your mind."

"Watch Dogs" will be released in stores in November, but fans have been speculating that the game takes place in the "Assassin's Creed" universe since last year. And while fans will be searching for connections between the two games, it looks like the company will try to build its own "The Avengers"-type film franchise by developing "Assassin's Creed" and "Watch Dogs" as individual films and then one day possibly bringing them together.

Both will be utter failures. Playing The Last of Us though has reminded me that you dont need s big budget to create a compelling story.

Hear Hear, Deaftone, talk about jumping to conclusions.

And I'm surprised that Ubisoft already jumped into the pursuit of making a movie based on a game that isn't even released yet, what if Watch Dogs the game bombs or even just has disappointing sales?

I really wish Alex would stop making up sh*t, because it only makes this site look stupid as f*ck, it makes the people posting here look stupid as f*ck by extension.

The hard part would be not having them related because they are releasing those crappy games yearly, there's a lot of them out and they just keep coming.
Anyway, no one has even play Watch_Dogs yet so how are they sure it's gonna be a hit? Oh yeah, they are playing it safe with the cars-shooting formula. f*ck those guy
