NSA contractor Edward Snowden recently publicly revealed some of the organizations secrets, including the extent of the surveillance program that forces Verizon to disclose phone call details of its millions of customers.
But it turns out that someone else already revealed all those secrets. That person is Shia LaBeouf, who appeared on "The Tonight Show" back in 2008 and told Jay Leno that while working on "Eagle Eye," the film hired an FBI consultant who demonstrated the bureau's reach.
"He told me that one in five phone calls that you make are recorded and logged," said the actor. "And I laughed at him and then he played back a phone conversation I had two years prior. It was weird."
Wired caught up with the FBI agent, Thomas Knowles, who spent 22 years working in the counter-terrorism division. Knowles said that there's no truth to what LaBeouf said. "I like Shia, he's a good kid," he said. "But he was just trying to promote his movie. He was what, 21, 22 [years old] back then?"
Knowles went on to say that it would be impossible to record that many phone calls. And since he was already retired from the FBI during the making of the movie, he wouldn't have had access to such a call.
Knowles said he had no idea that LaBeouf made these statements five years ago and is now reaching out to LaBeouf's representatives to get a retraction.
Shia isn't worried--he has nothing to hide. He filmed himself attempting coitus with his girlthing and sent it in the mail to Lars Von Trier. It's the most popular video at the United Postal Service headquarters.
Ain't It Cool had this *sshole reviewer named Billy The Kidd that hated nearly every single movie he reviewed and he was finally fired for banning way too many commenters in his talkbacks and also for complaining about and spoiling nearly every single scene in The Evil Dead and he had just hosted a screening with Bruce Campbell on April 1st.
Campbell apparently saw it and contacted Harry Knowles who then fires Billy shortly thereafter.
Now dustin buttman is not doing quite the same sh*t because his reviews lack the ability to comment for the obvious reason being no one likes his reviews at all.
So I am not sure why alex has him as a reviewer and also why is it only him? Alex should do some reviews or at least have about 5 reviewers, 2 girls, 3 guys or something.
Anyways dusty's review of This Is The End is horrible and I will definitely sneak in to see it on Sunday after I pay to watch Man of Steel.
Nice deaf, I'm thinking about going to see MoS and TITE as well....but, I went to go see the new Star Trek, after having not been to the theater in about 6 months, and it was so packed. Faggots were talking during the movie, little kids were crawling around their seats pointing at the screen and spilling candy everywhere. I half expected some crazy f*cker to bust in with a automatic weapon and start mowing people down....The theater is just a horrible place during the first few days of a big movie opening...oh well
