Warner Bros has unveiled the trailer for its upcoming "Getaway" thriller, starring Ethan Hawke, Selena Gomez, Jon Voight, Rebecca Budig, and Bruce Payne. Check it out below.
Plot: Former race car driver Brent Magna (Hawke) is desperately trying to save the life of his kidnapped wife. He commandeers a custom Shelby Cobra Mustang, taking it and its unwitting owner (Gomez) on a high-speed race against time, at the command of the mysterious villain holding his wife hostage.
The new movie is directed by Courtney Solomon (An American Haunting, Dungeons and Dragons) and is set to hit theaters on August 30th.

He seems to be making his bank in two things...horror films & the "Before" series plus some other movies he does like this one. He is actually a good actor in my opinion but he really does some weird films like this for no reason. Still, his movies in horror seem to be more interesting than others and get better praise like "Sinister" or "The Purge".
Jon Voight doing another weird over-the-top accent. Ethan Hawke as the latest famous actor doing a Taken ripoff. Selena Gomez as the cutest cleanest teenage runaway (prostitute?) ever. From the auteur who brought us Dungeons & Dragons (Courtney Solomon should be on death row in movie jail for that one).
This has 'labor day weekend dump' written all over it.
I don't know what it is about him, Cannon. He seems to use his aura of being disheveled as his acting "method". He always seems to have that same persona in his films. He's not a bad actor, just one that makes me indifferent to his screen presence.

Yeah I know. Honestly I think it depends. When he gets a shot at a high profile movie he gets to prove himself a little. He seems to stay out of big movies. I heard he was going to be in "Total Recall" but his cameo got cut. Still he has his moments.
