Today we have new photos from the New York set of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," showing Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) swinging around the city with Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). Check out the photos below.

Plot: For Peter Parker (Garfield), life is busy between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Stone). High school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

The new movie is directed by Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man) and is set to hit theaters on May 2nd, 2014.

I sure hope that the Blu-Ray release has a special feature on this rig and what the maximum weight it can support for stunt work. It would be very interesting.

why wont this die already

why cant they make a dark version of spiderman instead of this comical high school twilight bullsh*t

are there any storylines that could lead spider-man down a darker path?

I really can't see this being any better than the last one. The costume seems really phony and their doesn't seem to be any really brilliance in the fighting or choreography. Plus, while everyone seems to want this, he seems too much of a smart ass now. Like all comedy and no dramatic ability. That's just me though.

Course once I saw how they made him look like Edward Cullen in looks and clothes I was already saying "To hell with this movie".

I masturbate every time Alex posts Spiderman news. Consequently, my d*ck feels like it's been run over by a truck.

I know this movie will make a lot of money, but is anyone actually looking forward to it enough to give two sh*ts about these set photos? f*ckin give it up already.

@sh*teater
Frankly man, most people would rather do what your profile name implies than see this movie. LOL

Odd. I originate the term sh*teater for people who will watch anything, then someone appropriates that term a few days later as a moniker. Then someone applies said moniker to what people would rather do than watch Spiderman 2.

The circle of life. With a twist. The Mobius strip of life, then, and I get no credit.

@mink
Ironic. LOL But this movie is just a shamble and people will see it anyway just for some quick action scenes and Emma Stone in a high skirt and boots. It truly is a shame that a superhero that was once the cream of the crop for films has fallen to the level of emo trash.

"Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy Swing Around NYC" ... I must say i expected less clothing and more action reading that title.
