Sam Mendes in Talks to Return for "James Bond 24"

Sam Mendes in Talks to Return for "James Bond 24"Submit Comment
Sam Mendes (Skyfall) already stated that he won't return for the next "James Bond" movie. Since "Skyfall" was the highest-grossing "Bond" film, earning over $1 billion globally, producers immediately went to Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight) in hopes of topping the last installment.

Nolan wasn't the only person in the mix. Directors like Ang Lee (Life of Pi), Tom Hooper (Les Miserables), David Yates (Harry Potter), Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive) and Shane Black (Iron Man 3) were also considered.

But despite all the work that's been put into finding a new director, it turns out that Mendes is once again interested in returning. Deadline is reporting that producers are officially in talks with Mendes, and they are willing to wait for the helmer to complete work on his UK and Broadway release of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."

Old news, word is he already accepted...guess they met his price.

Whatever happened to what hey said about getting a different director for each film, or did the money talk and the bullsh*t walk?

Besides, even though Skyfall made piles, it is still a far fall from Casino Royale.

^^ Like Iron Man, the first one is the one to beat...

Would they bring back Campbell? After Green Lantern...meeeeh.

What happened to the genius on here who said Refn was likely the next Bond director? Where did that MENSA member go?

@CM: As I and other have said, there's just something fresh to the blank canvas reboots get, when done right of course. Which means Man of Steel will probably hit the high 80s on RT.

Mink- just watched Casino again yesterday. Agreed, Skyfall is great in it's own right but not as good as Casino.

dont' care who directs.... important is that MGM needs any penny!

In the end, it's all come down to money. The producers love making money, and Skyfall made a sh*t tons of it. So I think it's safe to say Mendes will most definitely direct the next Bond.

^^ Yup, the producers have more than a billion reasons to rehire Mendes.

Nice sentence structure, sh*te-for-brains. "Next time choose your wording more carefully." *LoL*

minkowski writes:

^^Dear trollsexual: My sentence structure IS correct. Read it again, imbecile. Consult a dictionary if need be.

On the other hand, YOUR sentence in the other thread is so poorly worded you ended up saying the opposite of what you were intending, which is the genuine signature of a genuine idiot.

Cheers!
Big Daddy Cool writes:

Minkowski:

It's NOT correct, but if you want to delude yourself into thinking that the word "get" makes any sense in the sentence or that "other" shouldn't be "others", then have it.

Do you and that "Turn Up The Volume" fool have the same English tutor, by chance? *LoL*

f*cking Americans. Your stupidity is only exceeded by your arrogance.

Give it to uwe boll. He deserves this.
minkowski writes:

Other than the evil omission of an s, it IS correct, idiot, as in if you rearrange the words you get a grammatically accurate sentence.

But I do apologize for using syntax far too complex for your enfeebled mind.

After all, you're still wondering why American cretins should like James Bond.

Now troll on, faggot, or should I say Ranger?
minkowski writes:
on May 29th, 2013 at 1:27:31 AM

Let's see. "Reboots get something to the fresh canvas."

Yep. Pretty sure that's accurate. So sorry.
minkowski writes:
on May 29th, 2013 at 1:35:31 AM

Oh I get it...you're the cretin who proudly proclaimed to the audience here, to a back-beat of cliched anti-American trolling, that Refn was in consideration for director of the next Bond, when in fact the news clearly states MGM is pointedly considering bringing Mendes back.
Big Daddy Cool writes:
on May 29th, 2013 at 1:36:34 AM

Again, you're delusional, but then I guess the mark of an insane person such as yourself IS to insist you have any command whatsoever of the English language when you clearly do not (as I have effortlessly pointed out) AND to repeatedly state that someone is a person he clearly is NOT.

Again, I laugh at the failure that is your life. I must take my leave now, but please feel free to continue your babbling without me. *LoL*

*sigh* Americans. It's too easy...

Ta-Ta! *s*

I f*cking loathe Drive faggot fanboys.

And let's face it, Drive is probably one of the most over-rated films ever produced. f*cking dope-faced Gosling skulking around playing bad ass like a kid in his father's clothes with that silly toothpick in his mouth, a pack of disposable characters in-scene just to be blown apart, Cranston playing Cranston, and some pop-puke rock tunes that have about as much substance as a little girl's fart. I won't even get into the gay pride parade pink titling.
minkowski writes:

Sure, troll. Sure. Ever been on Youtube? Seems to be the new rage with faggots such as yourself. I see people such as you all the time, in fact, trolling websites like Youtube amd IMDb, pretending to give a sh*t about the community, but instead using it as a screen to annoy "Americans". In fact there's a sickening pack of quite similar mouth-breathing sociopaths on the Married With Children videos. Bundy House is the channel, I believe.
minkowski writes:

I like how Big Bloody Stool was lecturing Alex on the lack of news concerning Refn's rumored directorial consideration, when in fact the current news states Mendes is actually in talks, not Refn. Sure, Refn was being considered...at one point...perhaps days or weeks ago, but today is today, not that some faggot with a naked Siegfried and Roy avatar would know the difference.
minkowski writes:
on May 29th, 2013 at 2:20:48 AM

@Turn Up The Volume:

The faggot "Big Daddy Cool" stole his moniker from Kevin Nash, a third-tier WWF "wrestler".

Yeah, he IS just that gay, so I wouldn't worry if I were you.

The only Problem is while they're waiting for Mendes,Daniel Craig is growing 5 grey hairs and 3 wrinkles per day.
